The customer service at this location is horrible. Seems like something is wrong here, or no one likes their job, or even wants to do it. I'm amazed dialysis patient and take a lot of medications. After a miserable experience with them again I'll just send the massive amount stuff to another pharmacy that will at least be pleasant and not indifferent to serving the needs of clients. All I can do is spend my money somewhere else, and write a review. Sorry hate leaving a bad review.

Stay Away! They can’t handle the demand since Rite Aid closing. Some staff downright rude. I had a horribly sore throat and 1 staff member demanded rudely to “Speak Up!” Then instantly turned around and walked away and said “I ain’t helping her.”
They never have prescriptions filled because they say they are waiting on it from the order fulfillment Center! After waiting 2 weeks on a basic prescription to be filled and they kept saying they were waiting for the fulfillment center to send…so I switched pharmacies. I followed the process to transfer that particular prescription and it’s been over 2 months and Giant Eagle still hasnt sent it to my new pharmacy!

The Pharmacists and the technicians are knowledgeable and pleasant. They are always willing to be helpful in any way they can be.

Rude pharmacist. Almost like she’s never had an interaction with another human being before. I simply asked if my prescription was ready, and she snipped at me that they just opened and their system was down yesterday. I didn’t ask either question. I obviously knew they were open… I’ll go somewhere else.

I was outraged at the conduct of one employee. This wss am elder man who stood with his hands is pockets. I was looking for a handicapped scooter and upon asking him he very sarcastically looked and put his out and said no scooters. He didn't offer to see if he was able to locate one. A complaint was made to management. They claimed they would speak with him then. I waited 10 min after leaving and I figured mngmt was just appeasing me. If I could boycott the store I would in a sec.

I would suggest calling before picking up anything, they do tend to have issues but it's mostly a good pharmacy.

I take a very important medication that without it can cause very serious consequences. I was running out, alerted my doctor, and was waiting for the prescription to be filled. After a day and a half I finally called the pharmacy in which I was told my script was there but they couldn’t fill it because they “were out”. I told her what could happen and she told me I’d get it a couple days later. I came down in person and told them again how much I needed this medicine, and that they need to get it from another pharmacy. The girl who is pregnant went to the back and proceeded to tell me they had enough for a partial. She couldn’t take the time, instead thought it was ok to leave me without it. While waiting for the prescription the techs and pharmacist gossiped about customers. Very unprofessional, I will be switching pharmacies.

This Giant Eagle needs a serious update. It lacks product availability. It doesn't keep lanes open to allow a speedy shopping trip. They keep one of their main doors locked so you have to walk all the way around the store to get to the pharmacy. (I believe this is a fire hazard.) Why can't it be updated to a Market District quality? This community deserves a pleasant and efficient shopping experience. I avoid this store as much as possible.

This is honestly the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Against my better judgement I have given them the benefit of the doubt many times but have come to accept that the standards and level of service at this pharmacy are dangerously low. The list of issues is long but my personal highlights include the following:1.) Denying a prescription because it was issued via a telehealth provider. Even though it was an in state doctor and was fully within their company policies to fill the prescription.2.) Filling a voided/cancelled prescription for a schedule 2 controlled substance with dosing that did not align with my current prescription or care provider.3.) Filling prescriptions with brand name medicines vs generics and claiming the customer requested it to cover their actions.4.) Cancelling prescriptions that I was notified were ready and waiting for pick-up per "customer request"I know it sounds like I'm just complaining but the sheer amount of errors and way in which you are treated by the staff when you bring them up is just unacceptable by any standard.I hope that at least one person sees this and takes their business elsewhere. Nobody should have to deal with the continued frustration and disrespect I have received from this Giant Eagle Pharmacy.
