Do not use Valspar paints if you don’t want a lingering odor of
Paint now 4 weeks after using
Valspar paint. Consider Behr from Home Depot or even Sherwin Williams is not like
The odorous Valspar brand,
And we bought the 2nd best
Paint in their line of interior paints. It did cover well with
One coat but we will try to
Cover the Valspar with Behr
And see if the smell of paint
Goes away...
Update: we got a small air purifier with a HEPA filter and that did get rid of the odor, 6 weeks after we painted.

I went to lowes 2 nights ago. In need off some more plants. I truely do not understand their waste policy. Of all places, lowes has thr most plants available. Every single plant was Dried Up completely or dead. This is no lye folks...and to charge full price, half price, even a freakin donation id asking too much. What the hell is wrong with manage ment? There are water hoses laying out all over the place . I dont understand. I was about to water the plants myself. Its wasteful, cruel to thr plants and your ripping the people off. Whoever is in charge over there, NOBODY is going to buy your DEAD flowers!!!!!waste waste waste....shame on you!!

On this visit we went to look at and possibly purchase a Weber propane grill to replace our 21 year old Weber Summit grill. We saw a slightly smaller Weber we liked online and went to see it in person. Unfortunately the one on the floor was not the one we were looking at even though it was marked as the same one. We brought this mistake to the attention of an employee and they spent a few moments doing some research and apologized for the mistake, stating that the floor model of the one we wanted had been sold. So we ordered one and got free assembly and free delivery along with my military discount. When they delivered it, one door had a crease/dent. The driver called Lowes service and they could order a new one for me at no additional cost or I could accept it and receive a discount. I accepted it and got another discount. Overall, the experience was very good and both the store staff and the contractor they hired were very helpful and professional.

Not that great.the store is very mis manged.
Went for plywood , got some an paid went to car. Came back an the self was empty, asked had more an said yes they have to get, take time, all I needed was one piece, that had just pulled a10 sheets an beheind the register, for later person to come an get, asked i have one sheet an they could replace when get down. Told no have to wait till they get to it.There was plenty of help. Very poor service. The cust they pulled it for was not there. An i was.
Heard a lot of other contractors complained about this store.

They didn’t mix my paint and when i took it back i was told by Chuck they did mix it. I said “lets get the paint guy over here and ask him”….Chucky was nt having it bc he knew i was right. I told him i would ome back in the am and talk to the main manager, his reply….”Im leaving a note to every manager not to give you paint or a refund” Chuck…2021 i spent $28,xxx at lowes, 2022–$31,xxx, 2023–$26,xxx, 2024—-month of incident (july) $14,000, 2025–$2,xxx. You let ur pride get in the way of business. If i conducted business as you do, i wouldn’t be in business. Numbers are spot on and fresh in my head ad i was just audited. This was Hazelton PA Lowes. Im just a nobody i know, but this nobody still needs to purchase materials every single week of the year (almost) to work. All bc Chucky didn’t want to admit that the paint guy didn’t mix my paint. EVEN AS I stood there w the unmixed pail of paint.
