“Great quality food, in a small, friendly atmosphere. If they don’t have what you are looking for, they do the best they can to make it or get it. Just wonderful people!”

“Update: the pork all tasted great. The beef was all tough, had to add butter or some kind of fat to the ground beef to get a juicy burger, then it was good. Steaks were all tough no matter how I cooked them, and I have cooked juicy, tender steaks before. The only way the steaks were tender is slow cooking in the crockpot, but then you can't cook them medium or medium rare. From what I've read, grass fed beef is tougher. I haven't gotten grass fed from any other farms before so can't compare, only in stores but never had tough beef, maybe it's not truly grass fed. I would recommend doing some research on grass fed beef before buying or maybe buy a small amount to try before buying bulk quantities because once you buy you can't return it. I would definitely recommend the pork, the sausage, bacon, fresh keilbasa are amazing!Super friendly, nice people. Very professional, meat packed nicely in boxes and loaded right into your vehicle. Love the dogs, too!”

“If you haven't been to Carey and Schnalzer you are missing out on high quality food at great prices. They have the best sausages and steaks. Their ground beef is perfect and priced right. They have all kinds of prepared foods too. This is where I go for meats to grill or throw in the smoker. They even have homemade dog food. My dogs love it and my dogs are picky eaters. I make my own dog food at home so I know good quality when I see it. This is a well balanced meal for your dog. I highly recommend this place!”

“Stumbled upon this place as we were walking down Main Street. It's a really small space with a very kind gentleman who offered us samples. They had a really wide variety of jerky meat including very exotic kinds I had never even heard of before. I got the regular beef jerky that was unflavored since I had kind of gotten tired of all the flavored jerky's and it certainly did not disappoint. If you're someone who likes jerky and you're in Jim Thorpe, make sure you stop by.”
