What has happened to this pharmacy? I’ve used this pharmacy for 25 years and never had a problem until recently. It seems they are using people who have no knowledge on insurance, medication, or customer service. I had a prescription that I didn’t need filled right away and I was told it would be there when I needed it. This is a medication that my insurance doesn’t cover and I have an RX card on file to use for this particular medication. So when I called to have it filled, the message said my prescription expired and they would contact my doctor. A week later I still didn’t hear anything. When I called to see what the hold up was and explained I had a new prescription there and was told it wouldn’t expire. They said it did expire and I asked why I wasn’t contacted since I was assured they put a note on this new prescription. I would have filled it if I knew they lied to me. They also said they couldn’t get a hold of my doctor and asked me to contact my doctor for my prescription which I did. My doctor office assured me they would call it in. Hence to say later that evening I received a text they reached out to my doctor for an alternate drug since my prescription wasn’t covered. So I called them and said no shit, it’s noted to use my RX card. And I never gave them my consent to change my prescription. So needless to say everything is now mixed up and I still don’t have my medication. Time to leave this pharmacy and CVS should hire competent and educated people for the pharmacy. Or just get out of the pharmacy business.

I was shocked, 6 months after I switched to another pharmacy this store screwed up my prescription. When I had all my prescriptions switched to a Weis pharmacy, I had just gotten a new prescription for my blood pressure prescription. The Weis pharmacy filled this prescription and I thought all was well. When I received a text from the Weis pharmacy that it was time to refill my prescription and they wanted me to confirm to fill it. So I confirmed and a little later I received a text that my prescription was ready. So I went to pick it up at the Weis pharmacy and they said they couldn’t fill it because it was filled somewhere else. I explained I received a text that it was ready and they said they only sent the text it was time for a refill and not a text it was ready. So I looked at my text message that said it was ready for pickup and the text came from CVS at the West Shore Plaza. I was furious since I had everything moved from CVS. I tried to call them and of course you can’t talk to anyone and can only leave a message. So I left a message that I was furious they stole my prescription and they needed to unfill it so I could have it filled at the a Weis pharmacy . I finally got a call back and they couldn’t answer why they filled my prescription. This was actually to be the 2nd refill on this script. The gentleman with bad English called me back from CVS. He had a very bad attitude with me and pretty much said too bad. I hung up on him and I was very upset but contacted the Weis pharmacy they should be able to fill it which they did. This is just more proof this pharmacy does not know what they are doing. They somehow got my prescription back and filled it even though my account was closed six months ago and everything was now through Weis. Weis filled the first 1 of 3 refills 3 months earlier so how and why did CVS get my prescription and then have the new nerve to fill the 2nd refill on the script. The only conclusion I can come up with is they must be losing customers and are getting desperate. Over 25 years I trusted CVS with my prescriptions and all of a sudden they had a whole new crew in the pharmacy and it’s so obvious they are not trained nor do they know how to talk to customers. I would love to know if anyone else has had problems with the CVS pharmacy at the west shore plaza?

Their phone system is, quite literally, the worst. It's virtually impossible to be connected with an associate and the system will, in fact, hang up on you. What's happened to the concept of serving customers and answering their questions? I've been forced to visit the store in person on more than one occasion to have a simple question answered. If anyone has a hack for this, I'd love to hear it!
ETA: No, CVS, I do NOT want to leave a voicemail to receive a call back some indeterminate number of hours later when it may or may not be convenient for me to take a call. I want my questions answered in a timely manner so I can move on to the next thing I have to do.

I went in for a passport photo and was ignored for 30 minutes as I struggled to find out why my picture wouldn't print from my phone. The 2 young ladies working the front were terrible, not just to me, but to everyone waiting in line. They had no time for the customer. I will not return, I'll just take my business to Walmart in the future. Pathetic.

Im not sure what the real problems are. I've gone here more than 10 years. The pharmacist is fine, the front of store workes fine. I do miss some of the workers who retired. I looked forward to going in and seeing them. Some are very conscicious. The care mart card rewards are crazy. The same day delivery the same. I have my card on file and ones allowed delivery? You must work at it. No delivery. The store is old and so cluttered a powerchair barely fits. However it's located in the West Shore Plaza. This old open style mall is thriving even in these hard times. Unbelievable because they claim billion $ malls needed torn down! Restaurnt, Pet Store, Restaurant, Neato Buritto, Thrift Store, Hardware, and others. It's rare to have an old open style mall thrive! It's crowed 89% of the time. Thank you West Shore Plaza for being a good provider for not just workers but patrons alike. 5⭐️

My husband came in to pick up my wisdom teeth meds and it ended up being such a hassle. They took way too long to fill the script and the pharmacy staff gave him such a hard time at pickup. This is the closest pharmacy to our house so it’s our most convenient option, but PLEASE work on your customer service skills.

Wouldn't give one star if I didn't have to. The pharmacy staff is disgustingly rude. Can't even keep appointments straight for a flu shot. I had an appointment, and the rude ***ch said she had no record of it and then rudely cast me aside. Totally incompetent. I transferred all my prescriptions to Giant pharmacy. Wow, they are lovely there and know what they're doing!! Imagine that! You don't have to put up with their attitude. Just change pharmacy!

CVS really needs to evaluate the type of people they employ. Never had an issue at this location before but today the person helping me at the drive thru was extremely rude and unprofessional. Not sure if she is new there but she definitely could use some training in customer service.

The staff is very outstanding and loving the store clean I would tell my family and friends to visit that for very thing they need for they home and love one .

My son went for his scheduled time for his online obtained appointment for a Covid Test. There were only two staff members in the Pharmacy and they both stated they got a "new machine" and didn't know how to use it and he should leave and got to an urgent care for his test. Disgraceful! I called the CVS to find out if he would be charged for the test and they immediately put me on hold when I was telling them my son was the one they turned away, then hung up on me. When I drove over to the store to find out they then just told me to call 1-800-ShopCVS. Said there were only two people there today and they were busy. Funny no one was even in line for anything. Very poor customer service! The lady's name was Bonnie the the man's name was Hadi. The store personnel also confirmed they get a lot of complaints about them.

1. Store if filthy! Floors have not been vacuumed in over a month plus. Lot’s of empty shelf spaces with dark dirt especially around the pharmacy registers.2. Pharmacy poorly managed especially for a large area that relies heavily on their services.3. Restocking is poorly managed on shelves and displays that are a mess.4. Self check out is a joke. They have staff that have to constantly fix machine errors and help people.What has happened to your pride of this business? Please work harder to present more professionally.

Alexis Is extremely rude! Despite giving me the incorrect unit count for my daughter's prescription, they insisted that the system provided the correct amount. I paid a co-pay for something that did not meet the standards of that co-pay.
