Amazing!!!
A very friendly atmosphere. Every client is greeted upon entry and they schedule their appointments with consideration, (which is so important!!) careful not to overlap.
I was so comfortable the entire time I was in the shop. The owner and employees are very kind and FANTASTIC at what they do.
I haven’t worn braids for a very long time (several years) due to pretty bad experiences, so I was a little anxious my first time going here but it was a breath of fresh air!
Ky did a gorgeous job!! I only have flowering things to say!!
On top of it all, she’s an incredibly sweet and attentive girl- the same can be said for the rest of the girls. They carry on very pleasant and entertaining conversation. It’s like watching a family.
Off a simple 3 1/2 hour visit, I can tell that they all their love their craft and take it very seriously. Incredibly hard workers who are eager to help out with any hair care need you could imagine.
I’m so happy to have such an awesome hair shop right in town.
Definetly will be back again and again and again!!

I felt completely disrespected this morning after I called and was told to come in at 8:00 am to get my hair done. Losing my sleep, I was up by 6:00 am and got there by 7:30, I even went in and told them that I was driving around the block to get money from the ATM and the person in the salon who asked me to come at 8: am say okay. I came back to the salon less than 5min, and i was told Maria will not be able to do my hair at 8:am anymore, no body call me to tell me that before I came. I had a positive treatment with Terri in the past as per my below review, but this time, it just felt very disrespectful. Terri you need to pay attention to your business. You can't allow people to tell a customer to come in at a certain time and when the customer gets there, they are told they can't do there hair without even having the courtesy to give the customer a call.
I was looking for a salon in my area to do silk press and trim, virtuous hair studio came up. It was about 10min away, I give them a call to book an appointment, to my surprise they had me come in right away which was awesome. I walked in to the salon and immediately felt the positive energy, the owner of salon Terri is so welcoming and warm, she did my silk press, it seemed as if we had known each other before, we kick it right off and through out the 45mins to an hour, I felt home away from home, I felt that I was sitting under a sister. I was very happy with the results of my hair, but more so I was happy with the loved and friendship I received which was actually a bonus. I will always recommend this place.

Requested style: I went from long to short. I gave Terri creative freedom, and it came out fantastic!

i went to your salon last Wednesday & didn't get the hairstyle I WANTED. I GOT what she wanted to give me. I requested fingerwaves & received some half baked wavy crap. she cut my hair 2here you can smell my brains. The sides and back are uneven. it looks like I'm a skinned chicken. there were spaces that made me look bald in some places. but NO WAVES. She supposedly waved my WHOLE HEAD in under 7min. Everyone I know including me thinks she could have done a better job than this, consideringI paid $165 for the crappy style. I hate the way she cut it off so short I can"t do anything with it but get it cut even and let it grow out. if the other ladies there take pride in their work, great. but she's a no-no, i wish i'd let one of them do my hair I wouldn't be so damn disappointed. let it be noted my June 7th is cancelled effective immediately

At my teenage daughter's first appointment there, Theresa was still doing her previous client's hair which made me late for work. I gave her another chance until she took a walk-in that ran into my daughter's appointment time again & she even didn't say anything to us, expecting us just to sit there & wait. I finally spoke up after waiting for 15 minutes & we never went back there since! My daughter had to be on time for an event after that too. Salons need to realize that the client's time is valuable too!!! The common courtesy of a phone call to ask if we can come in later or reschedule because she's taking a walk-in would've been the professional & considerate thing to do so that we could've done what we needed to do in the meantime! I would always hear Theresa & her staff complain about customers being late without calling but I would say to myself that the salon is doing the exact same thing.

i am very pleased with the professionalism, creativity , cleanliness , kindness , punctuality and professionalism i receive from Kylia . She is an amazingly talented braider and stylist . She never disappoints me. No amount of money is too much when it comes to professionalism and a long lasting protective style . My hair is healthy and growing . Thank you Kylia !!!

Teresa is an amazing master stylist! She focuses on the health of your hair as much as she does the style. I have never had a style or color that she didn't exceed my expectations. Ky does amazing braiding styles.

I’m very happy with my hair. She did exactly what I wanted and it isn’t too tight. Kylia did my hair. I don’t usually get braids so I forgot to ask about hair but she figured it out and got it done. I will be back.:)

This review is specifically regarding the complete absence of customer service displayed this afternoon at the salon.My sister had medium box braids done by a lady called Kaleah, and came home with no receipt or explanation as to why there was a $55 increase in the price of her service. My sibling is severely autistic and has difficulty in advocating on her own behalf.We returned to the salon to ask 3 questions:1. Why had the price of the braids increased?2. Why hadn't a receipt been given?3. Where were the supposed bald spots?From the moment we set foot in the salon, we were met with aggression and hostility from 3 women, which presumably includes the owner. I'm in disbelief that any business or business owner would possess such a lack of pride or self-control. A customer who has been rendered a service absolutely has the right to ask questions, ESPECIALLY if there's no receipt to refer to and without being shouted at.The irony of course is that we have still not received a receipt, and after a needless screaming and storming out by one "lady", we got an explanation.These clowns are not fit to run any business at all, thank you for your time today, and when you get this, we're still awaiting our receipt.Service: Box Braids
