Dont go to bucks garage for anything, you will be sorry you did, service is bad and customer service is worse ,sorry but i need to be honest.if you have small problem ,they turn it into a big problem and try to charge you alot of money, they tried to charge me 400.00 for a 25.00 fix ,shame on bucks .

I'm writing this review in hopes of saving someone from the mistake I ALMOST made. On Monday, I called Buck's U-Haul to schedule a 10' truck for a quick local furniture move for Saturday. Person who took my call was less than thrilled but whatever. She books my reservation and says "well I hope they send us a truck". So I say "what do you mean...is there a chance you won't have the truck when I need it?" I get dead silence on the phone. So fast forward to Thursday, when the comment the person made keeps nagging at me, I have my husband call to "make sure" our truck will be there for us on Saturday. They tell him they have no control over U-Haul (wait aren't they the U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer?) and who knows if they will have the truck we need...we should get a call by 6pm the night BEFORE we are scheduled to pick up the truck to tell us if they will have a truck or not. I have people scheduled to help us on Saturday, I have the people we are buying the furniture from waiting for us to come at a certain time on Saturday. I can't be told less than a day before that the truck isn't available leaving me with no time to make other arrangements (this is why I called on Monday and not Friday). Why did they make the reservation if there was a chance they couldn't fulfill it??? So, beyond frustrated, we call U-Haul headquarters and thank goodness we did. As a courtesy U-Haul headquarters called them about our reservation, and they told U-Haul they didn't have the man power to get the truck to accommodate us...so I say again why did they make the reservation instead of just saying, sorry we can't accommodate a 10' truck? Makes me wonder if they can accommodate any truck quite honestly. After much back and forth, U-Haul headquarters ended up finding it at another dealer and we have to pick up a day earlier but we will not be charged extra. Altogether I can't say I love U-Haul, but since they are the only real game in town my advice is to all that read this...deal directly with U-Haul (either online or on the phone) and schedule everything directly with them. It doesn't appear that these local places have a clue as to how to run the U-Haul business.
