The Lewisburg YMCA at the Miller Center is a comprehensive recreation and wellness center. It features four hard courts, a turf field, and a state-of-the-art fitness center with Precor and Technogym equipment. Golfers can enjoy a Full Swing golf simulator with dozens of courses to play or practice on the range, with lessons available from a local PGA pro. The facility is a great resource for the community, with a weight room that is never too crowded, free childcare for up to 2 hours, and a satisfactory class selection and schedule. The original founders, the Miller Family, have made this YMCA much more than the average, with courts, programs, and a superb staff. The center hosts great youth volleyball and basketball tournaments, and has been a wonderful venue for the Central Pennsylvania Youth Convention. It is an awesome place, highly recommended for anyone looking to join a health and fitness establishment, with children's programs, beginner sports and fitness classes, leagues for kids and adults, and a certified athletic trainer on-site.
