I was at this store on Easter Sunday, 3/31/2024. It was early afternoon, between 12 pm and 2 pm. My cashier was a thin, old short white woman, with graying hair. Her demeanor was miserable, rude, frustrated, unwelcoming, unpolished, and unprofessional. I would be miserable as well if I had to stand on my feet all day at her age. So glad that's not my situation. ??? Also, her level of ignorance and stupidity is incomprehensible.
What happened was....
The Back Story: I am retired, but do ride share part-time. My ride share earnings are transferred to a rideshare debit card. It's like a cash card. Once I spend the earnings on the card the balance goes to $0 until I work again and earn more money.
The Main Story: This woman checked my items out with an evil and stern face. I gave her my rideshare cash card to pay the bill. The money on my card paid all but 2 cents of my purchased. I quickly reached into my wallet without hesitating and gave her the remaining 2 cents.
In an attempt to humiliate me ( a black customer) this cashier proceeded to make a scene by taking issue with my card being 2 cents short by informing the peole in line behind me that my card was 2 penny's short. Mind you, I paid the remaining balance without hesitantation.
* Because her behavior is totally unacceptable, and my most bizarre check out experience ever. I have reported this incident to the corporate office.
* Additionally, I will contact a lawyer because of the intentional humiliation and because you shared financial information about me with other shoppers without my authorization.

Clean, well stocked with pleasant workers. Kudos to Sarah for keeping the shelves full of good stuff. Shout out to Adam for making sure everything runs smoothly and a high five to Shelby just for being so nice!

I drive from Douglassville just to shop at this Dollar Tree location every so often. The place is clean, the staff is kind and helpful, and seems to be under great management compared to the other Dollar Trees I’ve been to! Keep up the good work staff!
