I have taken my vehicle to Gary Schmidts Garage several times. They are a reasonably priced and honest shop with skilled mechanics who identify and resolve vehicle issues. In the past I have visited other shops in the area that over charge and make up vehicle concerns. Most recently I had some concerns about my breaks being extra squeaky. Gary Schmidts assessed my vehicle and was honest advising it was just from dirt and there was no need to be concerned. If you are looking for a mechanic in the area, give this shop a try.

Very pleased with the service here! Needed new brakes, and called Gary Schmidt's based on a friend's recommendation. Was given an estimate below what the dealership had quoted. When all was said and done, actual cost was below the estimate. Everything was explained to me, I felt the mechanic was very thorough, and everyone was friendly. It's a 40 minute drive for me to get here, but I will be back for future service!

We have been using Gary Schmidt's Garage for over 20 years. They are an honest trustworthy garage. They won't sell you on something you don't need. And they are a great value. I highly recommend!

I went in to Gary Schmidt's Garage a total emotional wreck. I backed into my garage while heading to the hospital (had to take my mother into the ER the night before so I was a mess in general). He had me sit and calmed me down while he took a look at the damage. Even though he knew I needed to go to a body shop, he still took the time to tape over the hole where the shark fin antennae was ripped off, let me know that I needed a body shop and what sort of thing they probably needed to do (which he was also totally right about) and invited me to sit inside until I calmed some more. People like this and places like this are rare. I can't say enough good things about them. Fully recommend taking your car here where you can be sure you're dealing with stand up guys.

Brought my classic Stingray here. Jon and the guys did some engine performance work for me and I could not be more pleased!! Very upfront and honest mechanic. I will be bringing all my vehicles here from now on

If you're from out of state and developed car issues...get over to see John and crew. Leaving from a visit with my son I did. John was informative, detailed and friendly. Pricing was up front and clear. Go see John!
