Had no idea this existed just 90 minutes away until we looked for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We were very excited about the wolves and getaway. We were supposed to go in August, but I wound up having surgery and they allowed us to reschedule. We stayed at the Whyte House, which blew us away with how beautifully it was done, decorated and equipped (including a huge clawfoot jet tub and king-size bed). As a standalone building, we had complete privacy. We knew the wolf sanctuary was nearby, but hadn't realized it was literally in our backyard. It was so cool to hear the wolves howling together. The service was unobtrusive but friendly, helpful and accommodating and the breakfasts were lovely and delivered to us. The wolf tour was good, although crowded as it was a special pre-holiday event. But as a guest, we were able to walk the perimeter of the sanctuary where you actually saw more of the wolves and some were more comfortable to come closer with only the two of us. We took advantage of this several times as the wolves are beautiful. They take very good care of them and the facility. We even saw some pheasants as a bonus. We also took advantage of the restaurants of Lititz, both family style and fancy as well as Wilbur Chocolates and the surrounding stores and nearby Renninger antiques market. All in all, a perfect long weekend and we look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful weekend at the B & B, having 2 of the 3 cozy cottages with our adult children. Staying at the B & B affords you of being able to walk the perimeter of the Wolf Sanctuary on your own rather than being on the guided tour. Both experiences are amazing and quite different. The guided tour gives you a ton of info about the sanctuary and the wolves, with tours going inside the grounds but not inside with the wolves! The volunteers and owners do a yeoman's job of caring for the canids, giving them amples space to roam with freedom from guests if they so choose, food and medical care to live out their lives safely and humanely. And every month there is a Full moon tour at night, also a totally different experience. Hearing the wolves howl while staying at the B & B is awe inspiring. The rooms are large, equipped with a mini kitchen and all the amenities you would expect from a luxury resort. Highly recommend it!

We stayed here for our first anniversary, and it will be one tough act to follow! The cottage itself is luxurious, the service (and breakfast) is top-notch, and it was a one-of-a-kind experience walking the grounds to snap photos of the wolves. I can't recommend enough!

I wish I could give more then 5 stars, this place is wonderful. The Summer Kitchen cottage was beautiful, super clean and very updated for a super comfortable stay. The perimeter walk is one of my favorite parts, it’s truly magical to just sit and watch the wolves interacting. The breakfast was delicious and we loved talking Chickens with Dawn. We combined it with the moonlight wolf talk which was so much fun and even better that we could walk back from the bonfire and relax in the whirlpool tub. Russ was a great tour guide. This place is perfectly situated near Lititz for great food options and not far from Adamstown for some antiquing! We can’t wait to come back and stay again as well as visit the wolves.

This is one of the rare times when I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I had such an amazing time here, I really hope to return. From check in to check out my expectations were not only matched but exceeded. The breakfasts were wonderful and hearty. The tub and shower were both outstanding. The floor to ceiling fireplace made our room toasty while relaxing and listening to the wolves howl outside. The bed was comfy and a roku TV was provided as well as games, but we did not have a chance to use them. There is a two mile trail to visit with the wolves and nearby is a community park with more trails. Behind our cottage was a gentle creek with a table and chairs to sit and relax. If you have any hesitations, leave them behind.Oh and one last tip. Bring food and snacks, don't waste a precious minute leaving the property. You will want every one of those minutes back.

Stayed in the Whyte house for the weekend Fri-Sun. They are doing check-in outside as the main house is closed. Check-in was fine, fast. The cottage is beautiful inside. Pristinely clean. They have a no shoe policy in all the buildings and it certainly shows, immaculate. Breakfast is delivered to the room each morning. We took a late afternoon stroll around the perimeter of the wolf habitats. The wolves are more active in the evening and morning. Many of the wolves greeted us at the fences and some started to howl. Dinner was at La Piazza of Lititz. Fine Italian and pub fare. The next morning we joined the tour. We had done the tour on a previous visit, but it is fun to do again. You learn the history of the reserve and the stories of each section. Its later in the morning after the wolves are fed, so they are less active. We spent the afternoon walking around in Lititz and then went to Lancaster to pick up dinner at El Cubano Restaurant. This is a mostly takeout place and we had already planned to eat on the deck back at the sanctuary. If you like Cuban food this is one of the best places to get it. They also have a stand in the Lancaster Market. We had arranged for a bottle of wine and had our dinner on the deck and watched the sunset. AS it got later the wolves became more active and we could hear several different packs howling away. A perfect evening. On Sunday we took an early morning walk to visit with the wolves one more time and then left for home. This is a wonderful place to stay for the weekend or to visit for a day. We will definitely come back.

So peaceful and beautiful. They are about a 12 minute ride to downtown Lititz. We loved seeing the wolves and hearing the howls. The grounds are well kept and the paymasters office/cabin was very clean and well accommodating. The food wasn't exactly our style but it could be yours. If you were thinking pancakes, eggs or bacon for breakfast, make sure you request something of that nature.

Wonderful place to learn about wolves, see them up close and support this sanctuary by buying items from their shop. Lots of land, completely safe. The cooler it is, the more the wolves come to visit. Go early doors are only open 930 to 1030 tickets and tour ends at noon.

Elegant country charm on the grounds of the PA Wolf Sanctuary. Very nicely appointed. Excellent breakfasts. 15 minutes from Lititz. If you love wolves, this place is a must! Access to the wolf sanctuary is free when you stay at the B&B.
