I have been a patient at this facility for many years. In the past 4 weeks, I have been experiencing a medical enigma and have required their services very frequently. I cannot praise enough the caring and attentive staff and the treatment I have received. Although I refer to all of the staff, Michele, the receptionist, and Aimee, the nurse have been exceptional - going out of their way to accommodate my needs. There were times I needed to just walk in because of 'crisis', and they responded favorably.. As far as the Nurse Practitioner, Lynn Salvati, I have never dealt with a more professional, caring, attentive, knowledgeable, and reassuring individual in the medical field - and I am a retired RN, so I've dealt with plenty! It is very comforting to know that there are these competent medical administers at hand and willing to help when needed....Thank you to the staff at Pike County Family Health....

As a first time mom I was very nervous to bring my baby to the pediatrician for the first time. I was imagining a very clinical, stuffy setting with your average old dr in a stiff lab coat who treats you and your child like a number or just another face in the crowd. This office is the complete opposite of that. They treat you like family and are the kindest (and most fashionable) doctors and nurses. It has absolutely exceeded all my expectations and I actually look forward to taking my baby to appointments and look forward to the next ones!

Very nasty nurses there, the doctors are wonderful people, including the pediatricians.Dealing with nasty nurses when you dont feel well is the last thing you want.Blaming you for not feeling well, making you feel guilty.Bedside manner is terrible.Please, do something about your nursing staff. They need an attitude adjustment.

Unfortunately, I must agree with the general sentiments expressed in the other posts. On multiple occasions I have found the office manager and the NP condescending, rude, uncooperative, and dismissive.

The receptionist is so rude and disrespectful. She had an attitude the moment we walked in. She rolled her eyes before even opening the window. This is our first time here and I won't ever come back. We came for a same day appointment. I hope the doctor and nurses are better than their poor, unprofessional, disrespectful and rude staff.

I have been here a few years now and yes there are times that you may experience a wait but compared to NY, it is nothing! My Drs in NY could have you wait 2 hours!!! Anyway, the staff has never been anything but pleasant to me. These times have become more and more difficult for the medical field and most laypeople don’t understand what they go through to try to bring you a decent level of care.

If the unprofessional angry receptionist would actually answer phones maybe I would not have to write this extremely negative review. I really like the doctor, nurses , lab personnel but unfortunately after 2 years of being a patient today was the last straw . We were desperate for care due to an injury and she scolded us like children and said “ We are busy go to Hamlin .” This was at 2 pm my first call to the office was 9 am .NEVER AGAIN. I suggest going to anywhere else especially in an urgent situation.

Everytime i’ve come here for an appointment i’ve had to wait over 30 mins to even be put in a room. My appointment was at 2:00 and they didnt put me in a room until 2:35 and i was in the room for OVER AN HOUR. I was about to get up and walk out. I understand it can be busy and they probably have a lot on their plate but for a normal appointment it shouldnt have to take over an hour & a half since walking in the door

Very friendly and professional, willing to work with your schedule. The doctors take their time explaining the options you have to move forward in an easy to understand way. The staff clearly do the best they can to provide an clean, professional, and friendly environment.
