The entire team here is great! They get you checked in easily, and the receptionist even asked to see Nibbler as we were checking in. We were not in the waiting room very long before going to a room to see Dr. Reith(sp). The tech was a kind gentleman who took very good care of Nibbler getting him out of the cage, weighing him and comforting him whilst receiving his 2 shots. Dr. Reith and I came to an agreement on how to better manage his medications and treatment. She explained everything very thoroughly and answered all of my questions without hesitation. During checkout, all of the employees that were st the desk said goodbye to him and made a yearly follow-up visit. I highly recommend bringing your pets to this very clean, friendly, and caring environment.

We just took our kitty, Buddy in for a senior check-up. My husband took him in, as I had to work. My husband appreciated the honesty of the veterinarian, Rachael. She didn’t upsell or recommend anything unnecessary. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is bc bloodwork is expensive. We’re glad that we’re up to date with Buddy’s health after adopting him a couple of months ago. It’s not the vet’s nor the facility’s fault that healthcare; for people and for animals, is expensive. The lack of one star is a commentary on the medical industrial complex; not this individual office.

Best vet around hands down! I first came to valley vet in 2008 when I adopted one of my greatest friends and companions Oscar, right from the beginning I was amazed by the clean, modern facility which 15 years later still looks better than some hospitals for humans, the vets and staff are the best of the best not only for their qualifications but for their genuine love of animals, Oscar was a pit bull but was treated like a teacup poodle, he was with me throughout my military enlistment so after living in other states I can attest to the quality of care offered by valley vet at a competitive price, Oscar recently passed away just months before turning 16 and left a gaping hole in my heart that will never be filled but I take comfort in knowing he had a life every dog dreams of which the staff at valley vet played a major role in and I will always be grateful and won't take my pets anywhere else.

I have fought like hell for my dogs life this week without the help of my veterinarian. He had an infection and my veterinarian did nothing but waited until his swelling in the neck almost collapsed his trachea.

The staff and facilities are great but it is pricey. Not sure if other places are more affordable or not though.

Honestly a great vet office. I came here to bring my mom's cat in to get checked out and decided these vets will be the only place I take my cat personally. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and my cat was handled very well with kindness and compassion im happy to see. I appreciate this office and recommend them to everyone with a pet they love

I take my dog Shadow a Siberian Husky to this vet. Staff are nice, and my dog loves them outside of poking and prodding for blood drawing. They are very kind to him and try their best not to cause any excess harm. He chewed the base of his tail when we bought a bad collar online, and they needed to shave some fur off to help the spot heal. Shadow really didn't like it, but it was necessary and only took off what the vet felt comfortable doing for the dogs comfort. They understand how to handle dogs that don't like any pain that also lash out and cry. They did use a fabric muzzle to prevent any biting and nipping during the shaving process. They are firm yet gentle with him. Once the painful part was over, he was happy again. They informed me about fake collars online for seresto and were very kind to give me information as to where i can find real collars. The price can be a little high for some people, but for a once in a while visit, the cost is reasonable.

Emily Mitchell DVM is awesome! My boy had a hematoma and she was great! He can be ornery but she worked with me and him and he has been great with her! Thanks Dr. Mitchell! Y'all really care about your pet patients and their owners and it's very much appreciated!

I’ve tried to give them several chances. In 2019, they diagnosed my dog with bone cancer and gave me the option of amputating or just put him on pain medication and letting him go. (I took him in for a bump on his leg). I chose the pain med route because he was already 8 years old. Monday morning i get a call from the oncologist they sent the X-ray out to for confirmation, he gave him a clean bill of health, no cancer. Okay i get it, some things are misdiagnosed. Fine. Still paid $700.This past Monday, i make him an appointment to get his pain med refilled and he needs bloodwork since 2019. He’s 11 now, and has arthritis. Still quite active despite this. Just finished the pain med from THREE YEARS AGO. Dr says, the bloodwork is elevated for kidneys and inflammation. We need urine & stool. $100 each. I look at the bloodwork and kidney function is completely normal except for a barely elevated SDMA (indicates early renal failure). I say “there’s nothing early about 10 years old with failing kidneys, and his creatinine is perfectly normal”. They won’t prescribe the anti-inflammatory because of this. His esonophils were SLIGHTLY elevated, they want all these samples. Again- older dog, probably seasonal allergies. This vet visit is quickly piling up to a hefty bill.Long story short, I took him out to another more reasonable vet, he looked at his bloodwork copy i had, and said “There’s nothing alarming about this bloodwork, he appears in great shape, we all get kidney failure, here’s your script”. Thank you, reasonable doctorThis place will nickel and dime you until you’re broke. Their lab tests are double what others charge. They will string you along with unnecessary testing and unreasonable expectations of an elderly dog by trying to instill fear in owners. I do not recommend them whatsoever, and I’ve been very forgiving and given them several opportunities.

Last year, Charged me over $500 to do a basic check up on 2 cats. One of the cats is no longer mine. And my other cat has had flees and dandruff on his fur since we left. Never will go back no matter how friendly your staff is.

We love Dr Cotter and Dr Reith! Dr Cotter was absolutely amazing while we were navigating a terminal illness with our 1 y/o dog, and in coordinating with PVSEC. Our dog ultimately died, and all of the staff at Valley Vet were so supportive! ? I am grateful for all of these folks.

Our cat asked us to post this for her. Jenny, our 17 year old cat, went to Dr. Ivy for a exam & nail trim. Dr. Ivy was assisted by Vet Tech Stephanie. Jenny couldn't be more pleased with both of them. They were kind & gentle with her am& she said she'll return in Feb. 2024. Great Vet Clinic.

Dr Cotter is so attentive and patient with my little anxious psychopath of a dog. I love being able to schedule my appointments through the VCA app & how kind all of the staff is! They make it easy to get prescription refills through chewy. The prices aren’t bad for the area, especially for how luxurious the facility is compared to everywhere else. I almost had an emergency with my dog (ended up being just a scare) and they talked me through everything on the phone and were able to get me appointment immediately for the next day (just incase) and continued to check up on me to make sure my baby was feeling better.
