The manager and staff at the main branch of Luzerne Bank are awesome. They are always accommodating, helpful and personable. As a small business owner having a bank I can rely on is a top priority. I have received nothing but top notch service from Danielle & her team at the main branch! Thank you.

Danielle is the best of the best when it comes to any type of loans. I cannot express my gratitude to her and all of Luzerne bank for making all mine and my husband dreams come true. Since going to Luzerne bank we are now life long customers due to her wealth of knowledge and experience. It all started by one loan to pay for our wedding. We then went back and Danielle assisted us by working tirelessly to assist us on getting our first home loan. Which took a lot of work, was a complicated case and during a global pandemic. She made the process a breeze and never missed a step. At the time we were not Luzerne bank customers. Danielle made this so easy that me and my husband both decided to transfer our main checking and savings to Luzerne. Even with that process. Danielle made it a complete breeze she helped setup my online banking, explained every step of the app, ordered me checks and setup my debit card. Since then we have opened a business account and we now have two children who have their first savings accounts with Luzerne Bank. We couldn’t have made a better choice by choosing Luzerne Bank and having Danielle by our side. I have even recently recommended Danielle to my parents. Who were very impressed by Danielle’s experience and expertise.With Danielle’s hard work and patience she helped my parents get a home equity loan with Luzerne and they couldn’t be happier. Anytime anyone needs any type of loans or even just a banking question. She is the first that comes to mind.

Poor communication, “The branch manager”. I’ve left several voicemails, never received a call back about my questions left on the voicemail “The branch manager ” calls me (wants to get off the phone with me as soon as I answer her call) with my loan just to push it off to someone else, it’s been over a week I’ve called and haven’t heard anything, I don’t know who it was given to. No help, lacks communication, and professionalism. Very upset with this bank!

Antiquated systems, poor customer service, slow processes which leads to slow customer problem resolution. Would not recommend. Better off with a neo-bank like SoFi or PNC/Truist legacy bank if that's your preferred style.

So far the worst bank i have seen. Shouldn't even be a bank. Old technology, unable to promptly and quickly assist customers. Rude customer service and prolly the most unprofessional bank i have seen. There are too many other and better banking options for anyone to settle for this bank. Be smarter with YOUR money. Avoid this bank.

We applied for a commercial mortgage with Luzerne Bank. The process dragged on for months. The loan officers could not construct a properly worded & punctuated email. They could not return a phone call in a punctual manner. If you are looking for professionalism, do yourself a favor and find a different bank. They kept asking for more paperwork and contradicting themselves. We were informed that we were approved for the mortgage and the bank ordered an appraisal which we paid for. In the end, after a week of being ghosted by several loan officers who I was calling and emailing daily, I had to physically go to the bank. The president of the bank took me into a dummy-office and explained that the bank was denying the mortgage. They refunded the money for the appraisal. Their own gross incompetence and lack of professionalism literally cost them $585 and provided us with a free home appraisal. Over the many months of this process we jokingly referred to them as "Looser-ne Bank". In all honesty, I am not a review writer, and I have no axe to grind, but if you are looking for professionalism, competency, good communication & efficiency, I urge you to do yourself a favor and find a different bank.
