Drove to RAK Auto Sales on 10/30/25 at 5:45pm as I was highly interested in potentially purchasing one of the six vehicles they had listed for sale online. Purposely asked my wife to hurry home after work so that we could go look at possibly purchasing a vehicle from RAK for her to take the place of her current automobile. Got there and their doors were locked and all their lights were off. Hours posted in the window stated they were open til 6pm. Yet here we were there prior to this time and they were closed.
If you are not going to adhere to your hours of operation, then you should probably shut your doors permanently. Because you just lost a potential $20k sale due to locking the doors early. Not to mention, if you are running a business, then you should stay on top of ALL YOUR LISTED HOURS for your business that is posted all over social media. This is the job of the business to do and when you have your hours listed as closing anywhere from 5pm to 7pm all over the internet and then right on your building it states 6pm, yet it's 5:45pm and your doors are locked, it's pretty irresponsible of the dealership through and through.
Thanks to RAK not being open when they were supposed to be, they lost out on a $20k sale and thus sent me, my wife, and our money to another dealership to purchase her a new vehicle. After this experience, we won't even consider purchasing a vehicle from this dealership in the future either. Time is precious, and money makes the world go round. I don't like my time wasted, and my money is good anywhere, but it won't ever be spent at RAK Auto Sales.

I bought a Chevrolet Equinox from Ryan about a month ago. It needed a few repairs before I was able to drive it, and Ryan updated me frequently on the progress. Even though it couldn't be driven right away it still was a great experience. I will recommend RAK to anyone looking for a good used car that's affordable!

I had been looking to replace my car for a few months. I told Ryan what I was looking for and my budget and he kept me updated just about every week or so with what was available. Finally when I was ready, (well my car let me know it was ready to be retired, haha) Ryan found me the car that I had been looking and waiting for. Thank you so much. I will definitely buy through RAK auto in the future.

Purchased a car from RAK auto sales today. Ryan was SUPER kind and offered any information at my request. Filled my tank up and wiped down the inside and outside of car before I drove it off. I am a happy customer. Also came with a 3 month warranty as well. Highly recommend. I got a great car at an amazing price.

Ryan is an honest and awesome business man who stands behind his sales. Contacted Ryan on 6-13 about a 2008 Acura RDX that we had purchased from him on
6-04. We had zero problems with the vehicle, and out of the blue it wouldn't start. Ryan and his mechanic came right over to my house to see if it was something simple. They believed it was the starter. This morning, 6-14, I received a call from Ryan - he had arranged for our vehicle to be towed to his shop, and informed me that he also bought the part needed. It will be fixed at no charge to me - who does that? Most car dealers would 'nt even return your call - Ryan went above and beyond what I had expected. I suggest anyone looking for a used, quality vehicle should head to RAK Auto in Luzerne. Amazing vehicles at a very reasonable price - but it's the way that you're treated that makes his business stand out. What a wonderful experience - I will definitely will not look anywhere else, and I strongly suggest this to anyone in the market for an amazing vehicle and overall amazing experience.
