ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PHARMACY EVER I left this place because of problems at the pharmacy. Unfortunately a new doctor screwed up and sent it there. I was lied to about when they spoke with a doctor which I have proof of when the doctor called me after speaking to them and now here I wait for my prescription once again NEVER AGAIN

Over 3 weeks to have a prescription auto-refilled. With in 30 minutes of calling to get a status update, it was ready to pickup. When speaking to the pharmacist her response was "oh, yeah we are a day or two behind."

The new CVS pharmacy location in Macungie leaves a lot to be desired. They always seems to be understaffed. Last week I waited in line for over 1/2 hr just to pick up a prescription that was already filled.Today (8/28/23) they were supposed to be open until 8:00pm but when I got there at 6:30 the pharmacy was closed!I'm changing my pharmacy to get some reasonable service.

Pharmacy is always understaffed so either closed or takes hours. Expect an hour wait for them to answer the phone. If they even do.

If I could give their Pharmacy 0 stars I would...they are awful. Every time you call there you are on hold for AT LEAST 20 minutes.

This CVS has so many issues it's hard to know where to begin. First, I have gotten several prescriptions filled here, and have requested easy open bottles. But I never get easy open bottles. So today after using the telephone prompts to request a refill, I called back and spoke to a person, asking them to check to be certain I got an easy open bottle this time. I also told the person I had a Good Rx coupon for my prescription, but they would not accept any information over the phone. This afternoon, when I went to pick up the prescription at the drive through window, I held up my phone to show the coupon. I doubt the person could even see the coupon. I was then asked to read the information to the clerk. Then she told me that my prescription needed to be repriced and I either needed to go to the back of the drive-through line or I could park and come inside. If I wanted to go inside, I would have from the beginning. So I circled around and got back in line, behind 4 other vehicles. Remember, I tried to give them the numbers on the phone this morning, but that's \\\\\\\"against CVS' policy.\\\\\\\" I finally got back to the front of the line and picked up my medication. Guess what: It's in a bottle with a child-proof cap. Sigh. I will not be shopping at CVS again.

Do not go to this CVS if you need to purchase gift cards for the holidays. They limit you to 10 gift cards. Give other stores your business. I receive no explanation for the rule. It is ridiculous.

Ok so I have been going to this CVS for as long as I can remember... I moved here in Aug 2000. I primarily use it for the pharmacy but then am sucked into buying a boatload of stuff. Every since they moved their location the pharmacy has gone downhill.. the store is very nice but not my number one reason for going there.. they always seem way unstaffed.. one time i was there (this was quite awhile ago) and one clerk at the rx counter went off... telling me under her breath they were working her like a damn dog and went on and on even using the F work a few times... it v was waaay unprofessional but I fe k t bad for her ..I saw her running around...Also forget getting someone on the phone.. they just Ignote it..I got an automated call Telling me there was a problem with my prescription and woukd I like to be connected to the prescription desk and I said yes and it rang and rang it probably rang 40 times so I hung up and I called back rang another 40 times and then I hung up and called the front counter and they said oh they would try to transfer it back there and they never answered either it was a joke...I brought my daughter there for Her 2nd covid shot there was people waiting online and then there was a counter that said check in here so she stood at the check encounter and I said I'm going to run next door I'll be back I came back 25 minutes later she was still at the counter and no one had asked her to check in I guess they assumed she was waiting online but she was standing right at the counter not in the line....apparently every one who was in line had checked in on their phone and no one was there to man the Vax check in counter.. just one poor guy giving the shots and doing paperwork..here's the deal i think the people that work there are excellent but waaaay over worked.. Corporate management needs to step in and realize they need to spend a little money and staff the place correctly...Ohhhhh and FORGET THE DRIVE THRU.. one time I was the second car and waited 15 min..apparently they were doing a covid test and paperwork at the window.. the old drive thru was so much better.. not sure what happened they moved 2 blocks down the road...could business have increased that much??? fyi the drive thru lines were bad ever since the new location open it was always bad.. so but covid related but then even got worse during covid..I will be honest the last two times I was there it seemed a bit better.. who knows maybe things are looking up.. but I've been very tempted to just pull all my Rxs abd head to weis across the street... it's just a hassle... but I'm giving it like another two months...

Medications are always out of stock. Mine are, anyway. I've missed many doses because they can't keep anything in stock. You can be in line for more than 30mins at times. Seems like ever since they moved to the new location they are unable to function. Everyone there is stressed out and so certain team members will snap at you as if you're the reason they're understaffed, overworked, underpaid. Get a grip and get it together.

Store is not handicapp friendly. Cumbersome obstacles make it difficult to get around.

Friendly pharmacy, always accepts coupons, offers many convenient discounts. Clean, and stocked well. Good selection of beauty products.
