Bert and Jared could not have been more of a pleasure to work with on our roof refurbishment. After countless other companies not returning phone calls nor emails, FRS not only promptly returned our inquiry but also came out to give an estimate within a day or two. Once the project was approved for our 14,000 sq ft building, there was constant communication and updates on the status. When Bert was offsite or out of town, the head foreman Mark was quick to jump in and answer any questions. Altogether, the entire team over at FRS was outstanding to work with on our project. Jared and his team were honest, professional, and easy to work with. We had some major issues with our previous roof, for quite some time, but they did a lot of repair work to get us through the bulk of the winter, before completing a full replacement this month.They communicated well throughout the entire process and were always quick to respond anytime that we needed something. Bert and Jared invested an amazing amount of time working to get our 16 year old flat roof repaired, then coated. They really sweated the details. They corrected problems that had been nagging us for years. You can tell when a contractor is trying to get something right, and not just get work done as fast as possible, to get paid. In 2017, I solicited a proposal for a GacoFlex Roofing System (20 year warranty) from Surface Coatings for our five unit townhome building. They responded in a prompt, professional manner with a comprehensive solution that included needed flashing repairs with competitive pricing. Our homeowners' association reviewed and accepted their proposal. Surface Coatings met all our requirements for on-time completion, on-the-job safety, and excellent production application (no overspray or cleanup needed by homeowners).
