I gave information to Vanguard on January 3, 2024 to get a Required Minimum Distribution. I have called 4 times since then and they still have not issued my money to be sent to my bank. Horrible service

Vanguard statements are terrible. They do not include the number of shares by investment nor the share price. I have never seen another financial institution exclude share quantity and share price on statements.

Vanguard mishandled my RMD and negatively affected my other holdings. Then they processed unauthorized transactions as a result.After 2 weeks of their promises ti fix it all, it is still unresolved.A pillar of the financial community has taken its reputation out in the street and shot it.I will be moving money out of Vanguard, after 45 years.

ZERO STARS. Vanguard is not for everyday investors. "We're not a bank". In November 2023 I rolled over a 401K from a former employer to a Vanguard IRA. It took 9 days (????) for the check to clear. Vanguard prohibits the customer from simply withdrawing IRA funds to another bank online so you have to get on a 3 way call to ask your former 401K admin permission to access YOUR money? (Mind you, Vanguard vetted my bank with a nominal deposit) I then proceeded to request a same day wire which Vanguard screwed up because they failed to include my address on the wire. 5 business days AND COUNTING, I have been on the phone daily, mostly on hold for an hour, listening to excuses why Vanguard cant correct a rejected wire for a lousy $1100? All of the managers "are in meeting"/ No wonder. I am filing a complaint with the Pa Attorney Generals Office as its my only recourse. If Vanguard was the last custodian on earth, Id hide my money in a mattress rather than doing business with them. I am certainly relieved Vanguard doesn't manufacture airplanes.

Customer since 2006. Vanguard currently sucks. Web user experience has gone from good to poor. Compared to other investment companies (Fidelity) Vanguard's web user experience feels like they are actively obfuscating my $ performance. The great Jack Bogle is not happy. I will be moving my assets.

DISAPPOINTED AGAIN!at Vanguard it is the same old story ..."we are continuing to make improvements to our online system" for a better customer experience? I have yet to find that t is a better experience and today it looks as if no one checks or tests the online software before it is rolled out. I know this may seem minor, since Vanguard has $7.7 trillion in global assets under management, but today I was reviewing my account and1) Asset Mix - I selected "Set target asset mix" and then selected "Let us suggest an asset mix" question 7 of 11 shows a chart with "A. Least volatility, B. Medium volatility, and C. Most the responses do not match "A - minimal volatility, B - moderate volatility, and C - most volatility. Does Vanguard even check for errors?2 - Transact - Selling a Vanguard mutual fund has become much more difficult! All I want to do is sell some Vanguard funds and place the money into my money market within the same account. I previously was able to select "Exchange Vanguard funds", where I selected "Where the money was coming from?" on the left to "Where's the money going?" on the right ..... interesting that the "Federal Money Market (settlement fund) is listed, but I am no longer able to select it? Why is Vanguard making it more difficult for me to "Do it on your own" and appears to be pushing me to use "professional advice"?3 - Professional Advice - I remember only a short time ago .... EVERY time I logged on to the Vanguard site, a pop up window appeared asking if I wanted professional help , it took me calling in to Vanguard to have it stopped! On an online site, I have to call in to stop pestering me?4 - Research - Numerous times I have researched Vanguard Funds and 5 years ago when I asked it there were going to be improvements in being able to download the information into an MS Excel worksheet, they said "we are continuing to make improvements to our online system" for a better customer experience", it is 5 years later and I do not see improvements, only worse with more effort on my part to find what I am looking for and no way to easily evaluate the funds.5 - Online Layout - I have no idea who is making the decisions related to your site layout, but it appears you have not involved the customer. In some areas the text is small, in others large to include pics on the side, with no apparent rhyme or reason and the information does not easily fit on one screen, so I have to scroll when I should not need to.My conscience notices when things are not right, how many others customers subconscious gives them "something is not right feeling". Since 1983 when I did a school presentation on investing and Vanguard I have promoted Vanguard to peers, students, family, and friends, this is no longer the case today. You really need to listen to the "voice of the customer". Thanks for listening

I've been a customer for 19 years. Suddenly Vanguard won't let me log in. Fraud hotline doesn't pick up. Was on hold for 3 hours past midnight Hong Kong time where I am. Couldn't get it resolved. I want my money out from these people I can't depend on but can't reach anyone. Nobody will call me back either. Absolutely horrible. Never seen a more unreliable financial institution. I have zero trust left in them.

Thank you Vanguard for the terrible advice, it forced me to have a second 10% early withdrawl fee for my IRA and all your agents can do is shrug their shoulders.

Vanguard is a horrible investment company. I recently left the company that housed my 401k account, I decided to take my money with me. I have been calling and being lied to, about my money for two weeks. I even asked to speak to a supervisor, in which I am being forced to wait 24-48 hours for someone to return my call. I have been misinformed, and constantly lied to by each associate I have spoken with. This is truly awful and heartbreaking to have to deal with. To make matters worse, Iam still waiting on a call from a supervisor.

I have been with vanguard for nearly 30 years. Unfortunately I have, in the last several years, had a number of incidents of terrible customer service which have affected my investing goals. I have begun transitioning to Fidelity.

I've been having issues with my withdrawal and I got logged out of my account. I came across somebody reviewing a site that helps recover funds. oliviatrader 44 @ gmail .com I contacted them and they took on my case and I got refunded.. please contact them too if you're having a similar issue. I know of Vanguard through a former employer of mine... a very well-known, well-reputed investment management firm based in Boston. And.... Vanguard was always spoken of, and considered, the best of the best. My employer provided retirement accounts for all of their employees (i.e., for me) and we were able to select the Vanguard funds where we wanted our retirement monies to be invested.It's now a full thirty years later, and my money has more or less sat there, and grown quite nicely, in my various Vanguard funds.However, sadly, I have noticed that their customer service line has deteriorated. In a nutshell, it seems they have OUTSOURCED their customer service. You no longer get reps in the U.S., and who always seemed like they were IN THE BUSINESS of investing money....reps who seemed to know a thing or two. Instead, we now get an endless phone tree of buttons to push.... are repeatedly asked to enter the same information over and over...we finally have to 'play games' with the system in order to get a rep... when you DO get a rep, it's clear they are not based in the U.S. Then you are told you need to speak with a different department...you are transferred....put on hold... asked all the same 'security questions' all over again (and even in instances where you aren't looking for any private or personal information on your account, but simply want help NAVIGATING THEIR WEBSITE). Speaking of which....whatever happened to the voiceprints that many of us recorded, of 'At Vanguard, my voice is my password'?? ...which was supposedly specifically set up, so that we'd not have to jump through all these ridiculous 'security hoops'?? We no longer seem to receive that prompt, anymore, when we call Vanguard...It's sad, that even with a company at the level of Vanguard, that customer service is DEAD. And I'm sick and tired of endless, waste-of-my-precious-time questions that are supposedly 'for your security', even when, as mentioned, I am often not trying to get any PERSONAL details on my account. I mean, you can't even ask a GENERAL QUESTION anymore without first going through an inquisition!Jack Bogle must be rolling in his grave.

I can no longer make mobile deposits into my 401k money market fund I was able to do this for the last 3 years i have over 5million$ at vanguard no longer receive investment slips they changed their web site they no longer show info on etfs or mutual funds that are not there own I am going to Schwab where they assign a individual to your account like vanguard use to do
