Needs pricing on some of the similar items or branded packaged items for customers to compare quality/price. Otherwise 5 star. Guys hardware is a dying breed of hardware store.I’d rather shop online when I have to price check everything or take a gamble on how much something is when there’s five or six different variations

I called Guys Hardware to come out and look at my gas water heater. The repair guy said it was a thermocouple and took the part & said that they would be out Saturday or the following Monday with new part. Monday came and I didn’t hear a word from them so I called them near 3 that day and was told they couldn’t get the part and I needed to find someone else to do the job. So I called Knisely’s which came out that Thursday and they ordered the thermocouple, brought it out that following Monday. But it wasn’t the thermocouple at all, It was the gas valve. So I had two choices a new gas valve or a new gas water heater. I chose new gas water heater. Long story short, I give Knisely’s a 5 star rating and Guys a 0 rating. They left with the job undone, my water heater torn apart and they took the part they said was broken and never returned it. My family went without hot water for almost 2 weeks and I paid for a thermocouple that wasn’t needed. Not to mention their customer service was a joke.Did I mention I bought that water heater from them and they installed it, but they couldn’t find the part. ?

The worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I went to purchase something 20 minutes before closing and the owner told me I should have got there earlier to pick it up then when they were loading me I refused some products that were less then acceptable as they were not as advertised. When I brought it up the owner told me he wasn't going to sort through to find good ones. I told him to refund me and I will take my business elsewhere. He didn't seem to care. I wouldn't waste your time with this place. I have had other less then exceptional encounters with other staff at the same place.

we needed a part for our rv air conditioner and they had it! it is truly one hell of a hardware store not to mention friendly people. if they don't have it, you don't need it!
