Insurance tried to refer me to a closer place, but after doing our research my husband and I decided to drive a little further to Concord auto body to get my car fixed. It had great reviews, and my father used them before as well and had a great experience. They turned what was a horrible encounter with a criminal, into making me believe in humanity again. “Michael, Bear, and Crystal did a great job rescuing my dead hybrid SUV from a crazy location. My car’s electrical system broke down suddenly when I was parked in a washed out parking strip alongside a small river. This was of course late in the afternoon on a holiday weekend. After an hour of talking with multiple towing services connected to my insurance company, and being told that they didn’t have the equipment to get this type of vehicle out of the sunken embankment, I called Keyes Towing in Media. Crystal immediately understood the topography and car technical issues on the call. Michael and Crystal came out and we all spent a lot of time figuring out how to extract this car from the 2’ washout ridge and embankment. I didn’t know what caused the car to die earlier, and the car’s default state was locked in park, brakes locked, and tailgate inoperable, and battery not able to be charged, so there were a lot of unknowns about how to safely move the car. Keyes called the Count Park Rangers to manage traffic along this very narrow and curved 2-lane road. They managed to safely extract the 5000-lb SUV using some very clever techniques and got it onto the flatbed. And they delivered the car to a parking space right next to the front door of a good local repair shop so it was easy to get the car in the queue when the shop open on the following Monday.
Great save, and I even made it to a holiday dinner that evening.”

Last spring I took my car here because it was shaking and rattling and I didn’t know what was wrong. These guys diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it quickly, and even told me what I could do the avoid the problem in the future. They also gave me a good price. That’s what I want in a mechanic. Know your stuff, don’t try to rob me, and make me want to come back!

They were much better than Delaware Auto Salvage, who I called right before them and was very displeased at their customer service.
