Doctor Hyder and MA’s are great, however, the nurse Jeanette who answers the phone is rude, has zero personality, and honestly doesn’t belong anywhere near the cranberry/mars area. It’s not hard to be a nice person over the phone or even fake a smile at the front desk for not even a minute. After being here for years, I will not be returning and solely because of her attitude/rudeness. It honestly made me never want to return.

Have nothing but wonderful experiences with Dr Hyder himself. If you are looking for a dermatologist I suggest staying away from Madelyn as she treats you like a kid and rejected sending my paperwork for a referral to a specialist. That's not how your supposed to help.

Posting for my husband who has been a patient for a lot of years. Dr. Hyder is very professional and thorough, and the staff is friendly and courteous.

Beth Schwartz, CRNP, is the most patient-focused, diligent, and easy to talk to healthcare provider I’ve ever visited. The office staff are also pleasant and helpful.

Dr. Hyder is the best. He's a great guy who genuinely cares about his patients. I've been going there for over 20 years. The staff there is great. We used to have 2 doctors offices in town, but the other doctor retired a few years ago. As a result, Mars Medical Center UPMC has become much busier. It may be difficult to get an in-office visit on short notice, but they do their best to accommodate their patients needs. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I came in at 5:35p.m. to do a drug test for my job and it took me an hour and 45 minutes just to get a cup and to pee in it I find this very unacceptable and unprofessional in every manner

We went here for years and then this whole covid stuff came down. My husband had to abruptly leave his job after 15 yrs and started to have anxiety and depression. We seeked help from them and they prescribed medicine that landed him in the hospital. We didnt know if it was the anxiety or the meds, but like a normal person followed up with your PCP. Huge mistake, it was the meds. Because of covid and not being able in to see a psychiatrist, thet decided to tweak his meds and this sent him back to the hospital even worse. I have found out that PCP shouldnt even prescribe these meds in the first place, and definitely not play around with them. Very discouraging and it almost killed my husband twice. ?

My visit with Dr Hyder was horrible! The worst doctor visit experience ever...so impersonal and in such a hurry that I don't think he even heard me when I said what was wrong with me...said I don't have tonsils when I clearly do and when I just told him about my tonsil stones that I get regularly....I clearly have an ulcer on the throat that he said is not an ulcer...I know what an ulcer looks like and feels like. He couldn't run out the door fast enough, said to follow him when we were done but he took off so fast and was no where to be seen and didn't even say bye...I will never go back to him.

I have been going to this practice for about 22 years and I have seen Dr. Syed Hyder for most of them. I can't imagine ever changing him as my PCP. He is caring, trustworthy, honest, and an all-around great doctor.

5 stars is not nearly enough of a rating to describe my review of Dr. Hyder and his staff. I have been a patient for a very long time, and even when I moved 25 miles away, I did not consider going elsewhere. I am completely confident in my care and the care my family receives there. Every person in the office is very caring and yet very professional.

I'm not sure where this ^person^ is coming from, calling medical staff "brutal"..... Really? Brutal people who like to laugh in your face? No. It's essentially a very normal doctors office, with a very good doctor and average staff. Don't exaggerate, Google User.
