We went to the Home Depot of Matamoras today as our local Home Depot did not have what we needed in stock. As soon as we walked in into the lumber department, an awesome gentleman who goes by the name of Shaggy, approached us to help. We must of purchased over one ton of wood (literally!). Between 6x6s, 4x6s, 2x8s, 2x6s, 2x4s, 16 footers, 12 footers, etc... it was a LOT of lumber. Shaggy did not stop for one second to help us load. Not only did he grab us an extra cart, helped pick through the wood, and load the two carts, he also made sure he knew where we were parked so that he could help us load everything into the trailer. We were beyond happy with such service. Shaggy truly went above and beyond and made our experience at this unfamiliar Home Depot a wonderful one. Thank you Shaggy for all your help. Very much appreciated.

Purchased a refrigerator from the appliance department , outstanding customer service from sales person JXK6814 , sorry I didn't catch his name but he was helpful and very nice . Thank You !!

The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because I had to drive 45 minutes further to this specific branch for what should be a stocked item at all stores. That being said, the item I needed was available and the associates working were helpful in finding it. One 90 minute round trip later I was home with my supplies

Dawn is truly a gem, showing the utmost compassion, and there to be a problem solver. When Home Depot's online system made an error she not only fixed it but made it right. My parents are local to the area and apparently have all the best things to say about any of their interactions with her, too!

Visited HD today and spoke to Billy from customer service. This was by far the best customer interaction I've ever had. Billy was genuinely an amazing person. Our brief encounter was phenomenal. He gave me excellent advice about my current project and even shared personal life experiences. I'm a combat veteran with PTSD and also a retiree from my civilian job used to dealing with unsavory characters. It's not an easy feat to ruffle my feathers in such a positive way. My wife and I would like to thank you for your warm hospitality. Good Job Home Depot, you have an excellent and dedicated employee there.
