DON'T DO IT!!!!! Think twice before sending your shears to Bruce! My Geib thinning shears snapped while in his care and I was told it was a manufacturing issue. These shears have been sharpened by others with no problem in the past. Beware that this company has no insurance for this type of accident and if he breaks them you're out of luck! When I explained that he would be missing out on a lot of business by myself and all of my co-workers, he laughed and said, "Not really!" And tried telling me how much business he has and we don't really matter. I agree with many other reviews I have read on this site-terrible customer service in many regards. He and his wife both have an "I don't care attitude." He laughs at you and she tries to talk over you. I now have to buy a new pair of very expensive shears thanks to Bruce.

I have brought a lot of my grooming equipment, along with my coworkers to Bruce for years. I have only had a couple issues. Each time they are met with a condescending attitude and they never take any responsibility. He recently snapped a $150 pair of thinning shears of my coworker with no apology. He offered for HER to pay for a crappy pair of $50 shears that he had. He then “misplaced” another pair of her shears. When having to deal with his wife she just talks over you and doesn’t let you get a word in edgewise. This is the last time I will ever bring things to them. Please be aware that they may be ok now but once you have an issue you will have a whole other experience.

Fantastic experience. Bruce was quick to respond to my email inquiry and his turn-around time for the work was wonderful. Drop off and pick up easy as can be and the price was VERY reasonable. Lastly, the knives are incredibly sharp! Recommend highly!

When I first found Bruce's sharpening my partner and I were absolutely in love! The first few orders were awesome. I must've sent items about 4-5 times, each time I would send a check with my next order. I didn't have an issue until I had gone about three months until my next order and had sent a check for the previous order. A long time I know but I didn't even realize nor receive a call. After I had sent the check and order and it was returned with an illegible note. After figuring it out I realize it said not to wait three months. Got it. A little after my partner was receiving phones calls from Theresa regarding my payment because they didn't have my phone on file. How I'm not sure because it was attached to every order and Bruce had even called me to confirm my address. After two calls my partner had gotten the messages to me and I immediately called them. I got Theresa whom I might add was not pleasant. I told her I had wanted to speak to Bruce about some blades that weren't working right since I got them back and if I had to pay for sharpening that would alter the amount on the check. She continued with I left you several messages, no it was two. And then with you have a balance, yes I know I'm calling about that. Ok well why didn't you already pay it, I have questions as explained. Ok we shouldn't have to wait, inner me wanted to say alright I friggen get it. Instead I continued to ask to speak with Bruce. Everything was good. Sent out another order with a check a few days later and the blades. Come to today... I receive my package with a letter attached. Addressing once again when payment was expected, also stating and I quote, " I do not do this for fun, just like I'm sure you don't groom for fun." And "because you seem to have a problem getting around to writing a check you can pay me via pay pal". The way I see it is we already had the discussion and I understood what was expected. There was no need for a letter to reprimand me because this business has bad etiquette. May be let your customers know especially when shipping about payment guidelines or even better call them and get payment over the phone! It's that simple. Had I been corrected the first time it wouldn't have been an issue. This business lacks class and customer service skills. After finding what I thought would be my forever sharpener I'm highly disappointed especially since I ship all the way from jersey ! Don't go here unless you wanted blurred lines and thick attitudes.

I have always had fast turn around time on all my saw blades. Very reasonable price. I was even told when it was no longer worth spending the money to sharpen saw blades anymore and time to buy new ones. Didn’t try to rip me off.

Bruce is possibly one of the rudest business owners I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I called and spoke with his wife and business partner ( she's nice) and was quoted a certain amount for my sharpening however when I got the bill it was not what she quoted but more expensive. When I called to speak with her and ask why my price had changed I didn't get to talk to Terry but rather Bruce answered. When I told him why I was calling he said yea, Terry should have asked me first cause it's more expensive. I then said well I should have probably received a call to inform me about the difference. He was not apologetic but asked me how expensive it would be for me to replace my tools instead of sharping them. ( Not like that should matter) but I told him and he said "then see I guess this little added cost shouldn't be that big of a deal." I said it sounds like you don't want our business and he said I guess I don't. Goodbye, and hung up!! As if it was my fault they misquoted and I had questions as to why. Terrible! DON'T USE THEM!!!

Great fast service! I sent in several different pet grooming items to be sharpened and or repaired. I mailed them out on Monday and received everything back on Thursday that same week! Everything came back good as new! Prices were reasonable as well. I will definitely be using this service again. Thank you!
