If I was able to leave feedback with 0 stars, I would. But because it wouldn't let me, I had to give them 1 star. We started bringing our fur baby to Dr Mullings in May. She seemed to be very nice and cared for our sweet, precious boy. However, when she ran tests on our fur baby at the beginning, we never heard back from anyone regarding the results. I left 3 messages before I received a call from Dr Mullings. Her staff is awful and very cold and unsympathetic. About a month ago, we had an appt at 3pm and they called to ask if we can move the appt earlier because they had some cancellations. We were not able to since my husband and I both work. When we arrived for the appt, they were rushed and very anxious to leave for the day. They had to give our sweet boy an injection of fluids, which would literally only take 2 minutes. Josh, one of the staff members, was in a hurry that a lot of the fluid spilled onto our boys' fur. He didn't get all the nutrients from the injection. Our sweet baby passed away 2 weeks ago. My husband went to pick up his ashes. Josh was in the middle of a conversation with a female coworker (I wasn't there to get her name) at the front desk and she rudely looked at my husband and said, "Can I help you?" He told her that he was there to pick up our fur baby's ashes. Josh took the ashes out of his desk, handed them to my husband and they continued talking. Nothing was said. No, "I'm sorry for your loss." No, "Here you go." Nothing. Now that our precious little boy passed, we never heard from Dr Mullings. Not even an acknowledgment or a simple, "I'm sorry." Nothing. We're thankful that our sweet and precious fur baby only had a few appts with that office and that he is now in a much better place. But we will never go back to Dr. Mullings for anything else.

Knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and super helpful staff. This place and Dr Mullings are just wonderful. All of my pets, past and present, are seen here.

Wish I could give ZERO. Called late last night 7/2 with a horse down in distress, they answerd the phone promptly, was placed on a lengthy hold. Was told I'd receive a call back and that my call was marked "urgent" never got a call back...horse DIED. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Not even a call to say they were too busy to help. Had other calls out as well with no luck of having anyone available...horse suffered an awful untimely death at 4yrs of age. We did everything we could with the basic stuff we had on the farm.

Went in for a simple Giardia diagnosis ($30 medication) and left with a $250 bill for un-needed blood testing labs added along with the meds. I should have outright denied the request but its kind of hard when they dont offer up any costs beforehand. Definitely a money grab vet. They will more than double charge you for any Blood tests. Lab charges them $85 tops, and you'll end up paying $250+. Stay away.

not only did this vet prescribe one dosage for 500mg of Trazadone for a 70lb mastiff, which should have been 200mg max, and i had to watch him have 14 seizures, but last minute before I can finally get my dog in for the treatment he needs, they turn him down when he’s sedated and this is after 2+ weeks of trying to sedate him to get him in with different pills

I can't thank the staff and doctor enough for helping me through one of the hardest times in my life! There was no rush and everyone was extremely compassionate and understanding. I will continue to use Hickory Veterinary Services. CocoMoose's mom.
