About Gordon Terminal Service
Gordon Terminal Service is a business that handles both shipping and receiving operations, primarily involving tanker loads. The facility is somewhat older and has limited parking, so arriving early—preferably before 6 am—is recommended to ensure timely unloading, which typically begins around 7 am. Drivers should take their time navigating the site, as the facility features tight turns and narrow alleyways, especially for tanker backing. Many reviewers mention that slowing down and taking wide turns help with maneuvering, and there is no need to worry excessively about tight spaces if done carefully. Access to the terminal can be via different routes, with some drivers preferring to use Highway 51 to avoid problematic routes or GPS issues. When coming from Highway 64, it’s important to follow specific directions to avoid fines, such as not turning onto Helen Street and instead going around the bridge and down Agnes Street to the gate. The site is straightforward once inside, with plenty of room to maneuver around the shipping and receiving areas. Shipments are handled efficiently, though loading and unloading can take several hours, sometimes up to five hours. The staff is described as cool and helpful, doing their best to get drivers in and out, though the process can be slow due to company procedures and the need to sort loads. Parking is limited, and drivers should be prepared for long walks to access paperwork or tanker racks, which sometimes require backing into alleyways. Overall, the terminal is manageable with patience, careful navigation, and early arrival. The facility offers basic amenities like vending machines and portable toilets, with friendly staff making the experience more tolerable. Despite some tight spaces and slow processes, the site is not considered as bad as some reviews suggest, and drivers who take their time tend to have a smooth experience.

Very tight. Limited parking. Older facility, Long walks to get paperwork for tanker loads. Some tanker loading racks require alleyway backing. It is the tanker drivers responsibility to dog down the top hatch.
