First and foremost, I highly recommend Six Star. From my very first phone call, the staff impressed me with their knowledge, professionalism, and guidance to ensure I got the most out of my visit to the pro shop.
To give some context, I had never been to a dyno or had any of my cars professionally tuned before and my only experience was what I’d seen online. Naturally, I had a lot of questions. I called the shop multiple times and spoke with Jay, who was always patient and generous with his time. He answered my questions thoroughly and even suggested a few upgrades to help me get the best results before my dyno day.
When the day arrived, my car was pro tuned by JR and the results were incredible. The car feels absolutely amazing.
In short, I can’t recommend Six Star enough!

I dropped my old Subaru Impreza off for a diagnostic test and the crew was very honest with me about my old car. Though it was bad news about the car's health, I took the information and had plenty of time to create a solution. I really appreciate their insight and recommend them for car maintenance and upgrades.

Had some basic exhaust and air intake swap work done by these guys. Overall, very knowledgeable and respectful. However, the installation costs seemed inflated. I was quoted about $500 for a 3 hour job and I purchased all of the parts up front prior to the installation. The appointment was very efficient. The time to complete the job was about 2.5 hours which was shorter than estimated but what really blew my mind was that the installation cost was $250 more than what I was quoted but took a shorter time to complete bringing the installation to a total cost of $750 instead of the $500 originally quoted for 3 hours... Is there an honest mechanic in this town? I have met only one in Pittsburgh in 25 years.

I have been bringing my 2022 Toyota GR86 (Subaru BRZ) to 6SPF for most of the 60,000 miles it's covered, and I've has the car since 6 miles. I drive the car very spiritedly at a bunch of local motorsports events, to all the car shows i can find and use it as a daily driver. My car has been nearly flawless the entire time and I attribute that to their meticulous maintenance methods and attention in general.
Matt, Jay and the whole crew are an amazingly capable and cohesive team that always get the job done right. Also, with the recent addition of Euro auto techs to the team, I'd say that 6SPF has easily become one of the premier performance shops around, regardless of vehicle make or location.

I don't like liars. I get the economy is bad.. But lying about parts and services is stupid. It's unfair because Jay portraits himself as a nice guy. Never again. Will not recommend. Goto TGP or out of state. Don't bother

The guys at Six Star are totally killer! I've been a customer for almost 2 years now. From basic modifications (coilover install) to my full engine rebuild. They have done everything i could've asked and more!

These guys are walking in the realm of Subaru gods.
I came in for a clutch replacement, and jay let me talk his ear off for well over an hour. They did a full once over of the car making sure everything from the tune to the pre-installed mods, all looked in full working order. I left with a hop in my step and a plan for my car's future in mind.
Can't wait till I have to take it back in for my next project, or even the wife's daily.
you guys are the best!!

Guys definitely know what they are doing. Very friendly and courteous.Expensive? Yes, very! But you're paying for their knowledge and expertise.They are now my Subaru technicians for as long as I own my outback.Appears to be only a speed shop but they do work on daily drivers.

Six Star Performance was able to get me in for an appointment on very short notice to diagnose a check engine light on my mother's 2015 Subaru Outback. They were super helpful, figured out the problem quickly and provided an insightful explanation of the issue and the best way to address it. Definitely the best place around for Subaru service and expertise!

After finally getting into the shop, I just say everyone there is exceptional. They are very informative and take a personal responsibility to make sure my car is running right. Even though I thought It was already they pointed out a few issues they could tweak to make it better. I absolutely will come back in the future for simple maintenance and to build my STI.
