Amanda Campbell is not only an amazing hair stylist, but a real down to earth human being, who truly listens to her clients and respects and cares for them. She has been doing my hair for almost 20 years. She has always listened to me, and what I am thinking that I want to do to my hair for my appointment. Whether it is a color change and trust me, we have done plenty of them or a hairstyle change, we have also been through a few of those too, she always listens and we decide together what will work and what will not work on me. She definitely knows my hair way better than I do. She knows I like something simple and easy where I do not have to do a lot of maintenance to it. I trust her so much with my hair that at times, if I didn’t know what I wanted to do, I would say to her, you know my hair, you pick the color or style. Now she would pick out what she was thinking, but she still always asked me before anything was done.

the best salon i have ever been to. eleanor completely shocked me with how perfect she lightened my hair. we did warm strawberryish blonde with money pieces and i left feeling so confident (i usually have bad salon experiences). on top of that, she was so social and easy to talk to. i’ve already recommended my sister come here as well. the entire staff is wholesome and so dedicated to their work. all of them let off the energy that their dream is to make people feel beautiful. this is a place of passion and i felt so welcomed. i also have to mention it was MUCH less expensive than every other place i’ve been. i will be back a million times over…

Styles by Lydia Beauty Bar is the best salon I’ve been to in years. The owner, Lydia, is my stylist and she always listens to how I want my hair cut and colored. Her staff is always accommodating and always creating an excellent experience for their clients.
Lydia is my go to!!

I have been going to Styles by Lydia for a few years now. I will never go anywhere else. The atmosphere here is so fun and relaxing. I see Eleanor for all of my hair needs - and I will never switch! She is the best. My hair always looks amazing and I leave feeling absolutely beautiful! Lydia is amazing as well (and everyone here). I will recommend anyone to Styles by Lydia! 🫶🏻💞❤️

I asked for a simple trim to maintain my already existing Hime haircut and showed multiple reference photos. Instead, my sidelocks were left uneven and undefined, and my bangs were jagged, thick, and full of stray hairs. I had to buy clips but I can’t even use clips to hide the side locks or my bangs.
After I requested a refund, they admitted the bangs didn’t look right but said they looked too blunt — even though the style is supposed to be blunt(Which I said and showed). When I asked if they thought it was a good haircut and are comfortable with me posting the photos they ignored it.
I re-sent the reference photos, and they claimed it looked the same — which it obviously didn't. They even tried blaming me by saying I didn't 'part my hair right' but the photo I sent was taken immediately after I left the salon. They also asked me 'why didn't I come back immediately after' as if that changed the fact I received a poorly done hair cut. They offered a fix but I wasn’t comfortable with anyone from their touching my hair again.
I wanted a refund so I could use the money to go and fix it somewhere else.
I don't expect perfection. But I do expect accountability, accomodation, and not being blamed.
They clearly cared more about keeping the money than making sure their customers are happy.

My husband and I have been going to styles by Lydia’s since she was on Pine Hollow Rd. Lydia does a great job on our hair. Everyone is just so friendly there. They all do great work.

First off, I gave you 72 hours notice with my cancellations, not 48!! And the only reason I wanted to come to your establishment was because of Amanda who has done my hair before when she was at her former employer. Like I said, life happens & that is why I had to cancel but I gave you plenty of notice. I have found my new salon now anyways & they have a more accommodating cancellation policy than yours & are definitely more understanding that things do happen.

I have been going here for about a year and i've had the best experience EVERY single time. i've built a relationship with EVERYONE there and they are all so nice! they know how to give you exactly what you want! The prices are always reasonable and never to much for what i ask for!

I had my very curly hair cut by Eleanor and it was fantastic! The shop is so cute and actually sells clothes and other items that are amazing! Staff are very nice, building is very clean and well kept. Highly recommend
