I hope i may have the opportunity to elaborate exactly and specifically why this establishment should always be avoided, as i already ran out of space allotted here upon my initial attempt. Very rude. Poor service. One note: for those that have noticed non-citizens by birth control all sorts of businesses such as these, whether it's applicable specifically here or not- Refugees from foreign countries (whose homeland is pretty much ruined as a result of what boils down to corrupt culture & values_ which are RAPIDLY going downhill for DECADES in *ahem* ''merica" (ugh).) I wanted to point out that these individuals receive grants to the tune of TENS OF THOUSANDS, that NEVER need paid back, that a person BORN in USA is INELIGIBLE for. This is why all: gas stations, pizza shops, pretty much all franchises, at this point are more often than not owned by arrogant persons with foreign accents. Though I, a 3rd generation, would never be given such an advantage. Nope, never. And although I've worked with many VERY SUPER AWESOME people from all SORTS of origins (and there's plenty of 'white trash' - nowadays? Seems like simple respect and decency are on the decline. I was told i was NOT allowed to finish my text (within their store.. PRIOR TO SELECTING MY PURCHASE) as their ONLY CUSTOMER at TWO AM. The text was a request for further transportation - i only had a 3 hour commute on public transportation tonight from what would have been a 20 minute drive, originally. Normally, I'd never text in anyone's presence. My hands were purple from cold, tho. I mean, really. Give. me. a. minute. I even politely asked. He told me no. So, I assumed there was a misunderstanding. I asked again. 'NO'. So i walked around, picking things up and shopping around, to buy a 50 cent pack of swiss rolls, just to reciprocate being a dick. The irony would've been lost on the rude foreigner that told me to leave, despite being a paying customer that has spent thousands in gas, kerosene, groceries, and while we're at it, illegal glassware. (When it WAS illegal.) It's ok. I stood in full view while my hands warmed up enough to have feeling - after all, I didn't want to drop product, like a j*** - so, i bought a 50 cent pack of swiss rolls, walked anpther mile and a half, and spent an additional $20 elsewhere. Now I'll skip going there altogether. Service means a LOT to me, especially these days, where everyone sells the same things anyway. I WILL trade 'convenience' for 'respect' Ten years ago I had an older guy, could've been Indian, could've been Pakistani - CLOSE his gas station to take me to my car when it started raining when i ran out of gas. I neither asked, nor expected him to, but I'll never forget that. It wasn't even raining hard. (Its the Sunoco just past Petsmart on 51 towards 51. Still awesome people there.) I love Indian food. But, there are 2 places I go to. The one I go to most? Not because the food is better, or the place is nicer (its not quite either). It's the PEOPLE. Don't be douchebags like the people that work at this spot in McKeesport. And don't support them either.
