This pharmacy has become the absolute worst!! They took on a case load that they are not built to handle! If you don't call and stay on them. You can wait days to get a script filled! Bring a snack, because you could be standing in line for a while. There is one particular cashier who is just plain nasty! Little short stubby thing! Ignorant, rude, attitude all the damn time! I will definitely be transferring my scripts elsewhere! Can't do it hear anymore!

My go-to pharmacy, and has been for years due to the proximity. Customer service is hit or miss. Of late, the wait time has increased.

Upset that i have to leave 1 star, ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you care AT ALL about your time and safety AVOID THIS PHARMACY AND STORE at all costs.. Easily the WORST PHARMACY I've ever witnessed. RUDE and LAZY are easily the first 2 words that come to mind..

very bad customer service. vitamin D liquid form for kids they usually insurance cover one but for long time like over a year they said they could not order insurance cover brand so i have to pay . ok i paid for 6months then i changed to white oak rite aid they do have UPMC insurance cover brand so. also my doctor and my son PCP send prescribtions and they always have a script problems. they always said we have to contact doctor office the script is not clear .it happened 8times already so i dont trust anymore and i request to doctor lately to send white oak rite aid and also giant eagle mckeesport too. doctor ordered to both pharmacy and well rite aid was ready on that day (same script) and giant eagle kept struggle with script and they said they tried to contact doctor office unfortunately we cant reach today may be tomorrow they said. so i asked ok then if patient really sick and really need that medicine then it kept happened with script what would you do ? they said well no choice and have to wait until doctor reach back to them. ok today 2/10/25 doctor wrote a script and i want to drop this off at rite aid but i was sick and i dont wanna drive much so i decided to drop off my script to nearest mckeesporr gaint eagle. an hour i can come back. so i back after an hour, they dont call or they dont text anything about they still struggle with script.so i went there(i am sick) and asked my med they said same things 8times already happened.they tried to contact to doctor office then ok i called my doctor handphone number and doctor pick up and understood whole situation and doctor said he wanna speak to pharmacy so i handed them my phone and they said doctor have to call their pharmacy and they cant talk on my phone . ok i understand this doctor heard what they said too. so doctor said he will call now and yes i heard phone ring but they did not pick up the phone . i know 6customers in line but they did pick up the phones i heard she spoke with other customers on phone even though 6customers in line. so after line was clear, nobody in line so i asked her and she said you see we busy here blah blah yea i see they busy and also they answered other peoples phone but when my doctor called they just cant make up pick up the phone. ok i am done with them. i asked my script back and went to rite aid and they did fill my med perfectly. i am so done with giant eagle pharmacy service. why ? because i am asian ??? why always they have trouble with script and always never ready my med when need? i am done with this giant eagle pharmacy . this was all true statement between of me and this pharmacy. i am sick i need my meds. but they always had trouble with scrpit they said. but before 2023 it never happened like this.but since 2024 until now always told me they need to contact doctor office (always8times over already),it is same doctor script since 2014...no one wanna come to pharmacy without need of their meds. i need my meds and they always hv never ready. but this time today was worse.they said they tried to contact doctor office yes office closed since5pm already.ok then i told i have doctor cell number doctor said i can give his no. to pharmacy so i said i can give cell no. they said no . ok so i called doctor infront of (her )pharmacy and tried to gave my phone so they cant talk about my script(they said they need contact with doctor for script right) .but she said she cant take my phone doctor have to call to pharmacy ok doctor heard that and he said he gonna call now. yes doctor did call them and she did not pick up the phone because phone was dropped doctor have to call them again(doctors are always busier then theirs but doctor did called them they just did not pick up) . is that their customer service?? is that best treated to customer who need med? I am done with this pharmacy and i gonna change to another pharmacy who can handle their customers med very well.

Hanna, is always sweet and kind I truly want to ask her if she's single and ask her out to dinner but always to chicken lol but when I'm there pickup prescriptions for someone she is always great and friendly

Does anyone in this pharmacy know that they can smile?? Coming here for years and literally every time the employee who waits on me is miserable. Every time. And not just one of them, all of them, pharmacists included. Was there this evening and asked the tech to check the price on GoodRx. When I thanked him for taking the time he mumbled “Mmm..mmm”. The cashiers in the main store are actually kind and speak to you and smile. What is wrong with the pharmacy department?? Who hires these unsocial people to work with the public??

I was there today picked up medicine obviously but every single time that I am there the lady that waited on me is constantly rude and acts like your a bother to her rudely rushes you tells you to put in the birthday but the screen to do so wasn't up on my end yet the rudely shoves your medicine to you don't even give you a chance to ask a question or if you need to talk to the pharmacist looking at my receipt her name is Kellie Mc she needs talked to about her poor customer service because next time I will call her out in front of the entire store about her piss poor attitude if she hates her job maybe she should seek other employment. I suggest the owner get in contact with me because this is every time she's extremely rude every one else is great I have only had poor service from this employee this rating and only because of her deserves negative 500 stars.

Called to see if they had a medication in stock, got transferred to two people and waited for them to slowly look up my info twice just for them to say no.Still better than the one at the waterfront. At least they were polite.
