Bought a car from this place. They sold it knowing what was wrong with the car. (Engine/transmission problems) . Don’t do business with these people. Replying to your response. I have a charge on my card from mummerts auto for it but thank you though. Ask kevin where I paid for the car and picked up the car.

I popped a tire on my 26 foot food truck, at 3 pm. I had to be at an event at 5 pm in Dover! I pulled right in and they said no problem! Fixed immediately! I was blown away on how nice they were and fast and made it happen no matter what! If i could give more than 5 stars I would!

My friend actually goes here. I went with her to pick up her car. The mechanic was very nice. The prices seemed fair. I was told they do good work.
I liked their office/customer area.

First, U-Haul might be a sperate business but the Mummert employees are the ones being interacted with so the business is NOT SEPERATE or there would be a designated person who only deals with the U-Haul aspect(which there is not)!
We stopped in on Thursday 8/14/25 to see if they had any U-Haul trucks available to rent and were told they do not service walk-ins and that they did not have any trucks available! Yet they had 3 trucks in their parking lot. We could not find any U-hauls available in the area so we got online to reserve a 15' U-Haul and were instructed to pick it up Saturday 8/16/25 at 10:00 am AT Mummerts. We called after making the reservation to verify with Mummerts that they would have the truck there ready for us on the scheduled date and time, to which they verified and assured us it would be ready. Today is Saturday 8/16/25 and we arrived at 9:50 am to pick up our RESERVED 15' U-Haul. There was only 1 U-Haul in the parking lot(the same one that was parked there with 2 others on Thursday). When we tried to verify the truck it would not work because it was the wrong truck! Apparently, someone walked in at 9:00 am without a reservation and one of the Mummert employees gave OUR RESERVED truck to the person who walked-in without a reservation. They were not going to rent us the only other U-haul(a 10') in the parking lot but they finally did.
We managed to squeeze everything into the smaller truck and move successfully.
However, that was not the end of Mummerts horrible service! We realized they rented our RESERVED truck to someone else but keep the truck under the name on our reservation... so someone else is using the truck we are responsible for and our truck is in their name. Which messed with the drop off and could have caused us to be charged extra for not being able to verify that we were dropping of the correct vehicle.
How is something so simply, screwed up that badly?
Mummerts should not be allowed to rent U-Hauls if they are not capable of holding a Reserved truck for the person it is reserved for... the side business is obviously far too complicated for the employees of the Automotive shop!
If you reserve a U-Haul and are instructed to pick it up at Mummerts.... tell the people making the reservation that you would rather pick it up somewhere else or BEWARE that your day could be ruined by Mummert clueless and careless employees!

Paul was very rude And sketchy to me he told me he had 10 years of experience on Subaru cars and I dropped my car and stuff to him and I've waited at least 3 weeks or more and he would not answer me my texts or anything then I go to pick up my stuff and he sends me nasty texts and runs jis mouth to me when I go to pick up my stuff he clearly doyknow anything about card thats why he kept trying to push everything back to not take your car here for anything serious hes a oil change guy and inspection guy thats all hes good for I recommend finding another shop I will never come here again!

WORST garage every first of all when he does work he smokes right over in your car and not to mention he never answers the phone we set up a appointment I try to get ahold of him nothing bo answer and he claims he has all this knowledge and experience but keeps pushing everything off or back he doesn't know anything about cars and hes very rude and disrespectful do not ever come here go elsewhere and hes super expensive and over priced !

Rented a uhaul here and was told online it would be $30.99. After they charged my card $66 I called and was told the extra charges were “in the fine print” of a contract I never received let alone signed. Still waiting for the manager to call. I got a very scummy feeling about this place.
