Walked into the shop today to purchase some snack sticks and just asked if they sold their seasoning. The lady at the counter went into a rant about how they’d be out of business if they sold their seasoning and how horrible it was of me to ask. Incredibly rude and not personable at all. Gonna pass on the Malady’s from now on.

Excellent quality cuts of meat at really great prices. So worth it to support local!

Best jerky and smoked cheeses I've had in years. I love the beef sticks too. Definitely making this a monthly stop.

The guy is friendly but the prices are CRAZY high. My goodness, literally double and triple some other butcher shops and the quality just isn't there.

Best Meat Market around, staff is always friendly and helpful. Only place I go to get quality, local meat

The quality of their products went downhill when the ownership changed. I won't be back.

The newly reopened Malady's meat market has a great selection in the cases of steaks and smoked meats. They also have some house made jerky that is really good. The owners are really friendly

We had a Meat and Cheese Tray and all I can say is wow!! Everything was excellent. Perfect for Horderves at any event. The cheese is way better than anything I’ve gotten at Walmart, and the price was amazing.

I won’t go back. The place simply looks dirty, and a very long plastic tablecloth has been cut and haphazardly taped across the bottom 2 feet of of the very long display cooler. Judging by the rusted front of the shorter cooler, that uneven curtain looks better than what’s underneath. Prices are high. Bought corned beef (stupidly!) without looking at the cut side of the piece. The meat was quite literally gray and at least 1/3 fat. I actually threw it away without even tasting it. Bought homemade wieners (actually just hunks of coarse-grind sausage cut apart at uneven lengths — I had to ask because I didn’t recognize them as hot dogs). The casings turned to leather during cooking and the interior had no flavor. Homemade pork sausage was just OK and very fatty. Although the staff was friendly, the whole vibe of the place is, “We really don’t care what you think.” Steaks and roasts looked good but, like the hams (nearly $5/pound, 3 days before Easter), too pricey. I expected an upgrade from grocery stores, but it didn’t happen with either “homemade” food quality or the appearance of hygiene. So disappointing.

I really only wanna give 2.5 stars. I loved their selection and accommodation, but in March they sold me top round at 8$ per lb. Now theyre telling me its 25$ a lb. Go to livingstons, they have high reviews and my coworker reccommends them. Top round is 5$ per lb.

I drove all the way down from Erie for the sole purpose of purchasing steaks from Malady's. I walked in and the entire meat case was empty, short of a bit of pork, some ground beef, and 2 of the worst looking delmonicos I have ever seen. I asked where the rest of the steaks were and was told they didn't have anything, but if I wanted to wait around or come back later, they would be getting a truck in sometime in the afternoon. I DROVE FROM ERIE WITH NO OTHER PURPOSE THAN TO GO THERE AND BUY STEAK. NO I'M NOT WAITING AROUND OR COMING BACK LATER. Between the gas and the 40 minute drive each way, this experience was enough to make me never buy anything from them again.
