Company is horrible and so are the franchises. Then don’t return emails or messages! Hope you all will be out of business soon!

As a former employee of the Duck Donuts franchise in Knoxville, TN I am trying to get my W-2 forms that they are required by law to send to me. However, I only received an electronic copy even though I did not consent to that. I tried emailing Wagepoint but they said I had to reach out to Duck Donuts and request my W-2. I called Duck Donuts in Knoxville to request my W-2 only to have one of the owners be rude and hang up on me. I have tried reaching corporate about this matter but their customer service is completely online now. I tried going on their website to contact them but their website isn't working. This company is completely unprofessional in how they treat their employees and former employees and this is just another example in a long pattern of bad behavior on the part of the people in charge of these franchises. It is completely illegal to not give employees/ former employees hard copies of their W-2 forms when they did not consent to electronic forms.

They don't return your call after leaving 5 voice messages. Does anyone actually work in this company headquarter? I can't imagine how their franchisees get support from their headquarter.

After ordering a dozen donuts I asked the lady at the counter if I could have two cups of water to take away and she pointed to the small plastic cups that don’t have a lid for me to take. After I told her that we’re getting on the road and we’ll be driving for hours she said she would have to charge me for the bigger cups with lids. I told her that was no problem, I’d pay for the cups and she tried to charge me $5.98 for two cups, to which I was not very happy and of course didn’t pay. The empty cups should not be as much as me getting a coffee or an actual soft drink. I told her that was outrageous. She apologized and said that is how her manager demanded. I waited for my donuts and left. Fayetteville, NC Duck Donuts, until today I was a valuable customer. You have officially disappointed me!

Ugghh . . . So close! They could have been great! The oil is apparently not hot enough so what could have been out of this world donuts are soggy and greasy.
