Ducked into Harbor Freight on Carlisle Pike to pick up some wire brushes. It's a clean well-, lighted store with friendly staff and a good array of basic tools. Better for tools than local hardware stores.

I heard about harbor Freight a few years ago but was always skeptical. Something in my gut just didn’t feel right about the prices. I happened to pass one on the way home and thought okay, ill check them out for the1st time. I walked in, the store was clean, the staff semi-friendly & the store was full of merchandise at reasonable prices: or so I thought. I walked around 15 minutes looking at different items only to see I had to pay for a membership of $29.99 to get the products at the sale price. Huh…. I thought okay I am missing something, so I picked up a tarp on sale for $7.99 originally $14.99 along with another item thinking ahhh good deal’s, right? I got to checkout and the cashier confirmed I had to buy the membership to get the sale prices. Huh… what if I went there only once I was giving them 30 dollars for nothing right? I bought the product anyway, but I won’t go back. I heard others in the store questioning also. In the end Lowe’s and Home Depot are a viable options without tossing $30.00 to the wind.

A great place to buy tools, some things are more expensive than other places and lack quality IMO. Gloves they rip like paper. I still shop here as I can find some speciality tools that are way cheaper compared to amazon or auto parts store. Most recently bought a transmission jack best price any where and worked really well.

My go-to for good, inexpensive tools. If you need a tool for a home improvement job, you can do it for a lot less yourself by using their products.

Not crowded. Seemingly mandated cashier-customer scripting is cringey AF. The look in the cashier's eyes like 'we just gotta get through this' makes me feel violated.

Went into get a toolbox that carlisle harborfreight said they had 3 of. Not only did they not have any, they wouldn't even sell me the display that they had which 2as the correct color I wanted. Thank you harborfreight for once again a disappointing experience. If you want quality customer service stay away from harborfreight

Good for items you may want to throw away after your project is complete and for those items that you shouldn't pay too much money for. One can usually find much more than they intended to buy when they went into the place without hitting your wallet too hard.

Reasonable prices, but quality of products, not sure if you’d need to purchase here.
