If you purchase appliances for delivery you won’t be given a delivery window until very late the night prior to your scheduled date. Essentially that means you have a 12 hour window and have to sacrifice the entire day. This wouldn’t be a problem if it was disclosed when you are making the purchase. Lowe’s down the street gives you a delivery window of four hours at the time you make your purchase. Apparently it CAN be done!

My son and I had a wonderful experience with Scott in store today. Scott was extremely helpful and my son left so happy he had everything he needed to build his kitty's hiding box.

July 6th 2020. This store is not requiring masks to be worn by customers. I entered the store wearing a mask, noticed several clients not wearing masks and asked an employee wearing a mask if they were required and she said ‘no, we don’t require our clients to wear a mask!’ The Governor has mandated that masks be worn when outside of the home. Non compliance is a danger to our community. I won’t shop here any longer.

My fiancé and I are in the process of buying a home. Along with buying the home we also have to purchase all new appliances. Home Depot had great appliance deals for Memorial Day , lasting through June 3. On May 27th I placed an order for an entire kitchen bundle along with a washer and dryer set. I was sent the confirmation email and the money was pending coming out of my account. The next day I received a call from Home Depot saying that my entire order had been cancelled b...

we visited your store (Carlisle Pike - Mechanicsburg, PA) this evening for paint and your associate, Ved, was fantastic! He took his time to show us all of the colors in the book, gave great advice, knew the product AND was so kind to my children. He let my children (4 and 6) help him mix the paint and was friendlier and more patient than he had to be. His above and beyond customer service is the reason that we'll come back for our next project.

Harold was a very rude floor staff. My boyfriend was very kindly trying to explain what he needed help looking for and with every word Harold gave him a nasty look and was scoffing at him, even more when he didn't know what he was talking about. My boyfriend then asked him for some cut wire that Harold needed to cut, and when he asked for a type of wire they didn't carry, Harold was very rude as if my boyfriend should've KNOWN they didn't carry that kind. So when he said he would just use another type of wire they DID have, that Harold needed to cut for him, he said "Ok", walked away, and my boyfriend stood there for 10 minutes with the wire before I walked off to find Harold completely moved to another section of the store, very rudely helping other customers while putting things on the shelves, as if it was the biggest convenience in the world to him that someone in the store would ask for help, all while having completely forgot about my boyfriend. We put down everything we went in there for and walked out. Please hire staff that are willing to help the customers, and not make them feel stupid for asking for help.

Tom F Mechanicsburg After the first of this year, I made an unfortunate decision to buy a Nest thermostat. Please stay away from this product. Anyway, I asked the Home Depot employee who they recommend to install this thing. He opened up a folder and said, Haller Enterprises. They charged me $320 for the install. I thought this was way overpriced. I ask that Home Depot stop recommending this company. I also think they should ask themselves if they should continue to stock the Nesy thermostats.

Bought a storm door and installation, they ordered the door online for us but neglected to tell the receiving people, installation, etc. Every person I spoke to said "It wasn't in the notes", so that means no one at all entered any instructions on what to do when the door came in. Specified it was the side screen door but I am fairly certain they measured the front door.

If you are looking for overpriced and poor service you found the right place. Their motto should be give us your money and go. You are better off doing it yourself.

Decent sized store, larger than Derry St with most of what you need most of the time. Last I was here to purchase appliances that were on sale and they didn't have anything in stock. Seemed to be more of a gamble to order and hope to have them in for the following week, so I left and purchased them at Lowe's. Prices are mostly fair and they'll match the competition's advertised price if you ask. Decent staff helps make shopping leas stressful when trying to locate certain items. Not crazy about the layout here as it's different than Derry St, and that caused confusion. I believe this store's layout may be what most others look like, but inconsistency is not good for shoppers. All in all a good place to shop for all of your home improvement and gardening needs.

Hire a new delivery company, we are a business and they refuse to deliver to us during business hours, the delivery company is based in camphill pa and my business is in camphill both times they scheduled me last, the first time they came at 7:30 at night no one was there the second time my schedule time frame was 2:30 - 6:30 and when I called the delivery company at 4 pm they told me I was last again and it would be later than 6:30 I canceled my order and here I come Lowes.

I am in the process of giving my bathroom a "face lift " and needed to order a custom counter as the dimensions were not a standard size. Alison Thrift was the design consultant who helped me this past week. I should have made an appointment as I went there on a Saturday morning. When I arrived she was with someone and would not be available until 1:00 pm (it was 11:30). She was kind enough to cut her lunch break short and help me with the counter. She was very helpful, provided me with options that I was not aware were available. This young lady knows her stuff! I also want to acknowledge another employee in this department. Her name was CC and she let me know that Alison would be a little while until she was done with the customer she was assisting. She offered me a bottled water while I waited. The only frustration that I have is that I had a question and have tried calling 3 times today and there is no one to answer the phones in that department. I guess I will keep trying.
