The venue itself is absolutely beautiful — thoughtfully designed, impeccably maintained, and the perfect blend of charm and elegance. It created the most stunning backdrop for our wedding day and made every moment feel even more special and unforgettable.

What truly makes this venue stand out, though, is how incredible the staff is. They were beyond amazing in every possible way. From the very first interaction, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our wedding vision came to life. Throughout the entire planning process, they were consistently helpful, patient, and so knowledgeable, making what could have been stressful feel easy and enjoyable.

On the wedding day, they were absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond in every single detail — anticipating needs before we even had to ask, keeping everything running flawlessly, and making sure every moment was perfect. Their level of care, professionalism, and dedication was unmatched. They even took the time to capture photos and videos throughout the day, which was such a thoughtful and special touch that we will cherish forever.

“Very happy Metropolis has been open again. Hannah and Richard are so unique and focused, they are HUGELY responsible for breathing life back into an area that was fading away. Besides the excellent quality of every piece in the gallery, you can find handmade jewelry, accessories and eye catching creations showcased by local artists. Oooh, and don't forget the bands!! Live music that sounds good! Something about the area where the stage is.. great acoustics. Maybe I'll see you there!”

“This is another of our favorite Amish smorgasbord restaurants while visiting the area and we would not fail to come for dinner here. We are not alone who feel so good about this place - while waiting to be seated, we met a couple who drive here all the way from Baltimore on the weekend to enjoy their wonderful and plentiful food offerings. That says it all....and yes, we will be back, gladly!”

“Rooms are big, beds are comfy..customer service is top tier were ihg members hubby teaches a motorcycle class nearby doesn't get over till 230pm we asked for late check out so I'm not sitting in the cold, the manager didn't hesitate gave me till 130pm made my day allot easier and left a nice tip for housekeeping cuz I know it put them behind, we will be back for sure”
