Worst bank I've ever had. Have a home equity loan through them (big mistake). I closed both accounts there since I was so unhappy with this bank only to find out that the only way I can now pay on the loan is to go into a branch. Of course you can only pay with a credit card, not a debit card because apparently they don't use the same banking system every other bank uses. I can also send a check in to their main location. There is no way to pay over the phone, on the internet, or on the app. Ridiculous! I also got reported to the credit bureaus for a $25 fee they charged after the accounts were closed which could only be paid in the branch IN CASH! Took my credit score down almost 200 points right as I'm trying to buy a house! This bank makes it nearly impossible to pay them and then charge you massive fees

After 15 years as a member I am closing all of my accounts and going elsewhere. The customer service has sunk far too low. They have too many fees for nonsense and can not explain them. My final straw was a $15 charge for returned mail. They are able to send me multiple unsolicited advertising letters every month to my home, but can not tell me what the correspondence was that triggered the charge?! Ridiculous!

Whenever I visit this branch I’m alway turned off by this one woman’s customer service.Whenever I ask general information regarding my account her responses are very offensive and belittling. My last encounter was asking about overrides needed to deposit amounts greater than 10k and wanting to know if there’s anything I need to do on my end.Her response was “Well we just want to make sure you’re not a drug dealer”Now, I have great sense of humor but shes just not good with people.

Biggest mistake of my life. You make a payment today, It take a whole one to two weeks to processed on there end. They will not call you and they will charged you ridiculous fees. You can't make payment over the phone. You will go crazy trying to pay them. Please if you reading this message, DO NOT DO IT. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. If I can select 0.1 rating I would have.

Don't even start with this organization. Best of DelCo must mean there's nothing else to choose. If they have to pull .50 from your savings IN THEIR BANK, ATTACHED TO YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT, to cover a payment, they'll charge you $5. Even though a computer does it automatically. Even if you've been a member for 20 years. Even if you have overdraft protection on the account and you've got tens of thousands in the savings account. Go to a bank that's living in 2022, where banks aren't charging fees for that anymore. Like literally every other bank. This is the bank of 1990. #CostOfLivingCrisis #Banks

Was a customer with FMFCU for almost 18 years. Line of credit, checking, savings, 2 car loans. One of my payments was late in 18 years because of bank error transferring money from my other bank. Had never been late in any of my payments for 18 years. They reported it to credit bureaus and lowered my credit score. They would not overturn it. Do not do business with these people. No loyalty or common sense.

Under a short, stressful timeframe, branch manager Kaitlin and her staff were able to make sense of complicated documentation so that we could refinance our vehicle at a great rate. They were constantly professional throughout the process, and went above and beyond to get everything finalized. I would highly recommend banking at the Media branch to anyone.

FMFCU was a great bank when I joined 35+ years ago (checking, 2 savings and a money market account). NO LONGER the case!! Ridiculous fees/hidden charges, absolutely horrific service and a terrible online platform. They practically force you to go paperless yet printing your statements is time consuming, complicated and antiquated (must open numerous windows, save to computer, reformat to avoid excessive waste of paper, ink and time, then open from file and finally, hopefully, print). Finally fed up, I tried to close 3 of my 4 accounts only to be told they could wire at $25 PER ACCOUNT, or mail hard checks. I refuse to pay $75 for my own money so opted for checks and explicitly requested (in writing) THREE separate checks, one for each account (after all, they were going to charge me a wire fee for each account, right?). No surprise, my instructions were ignored and I received ONE check for the total amount of the three accounts which I tried to deposit into my other CU's ATM. Nope. Since they ignored my instructions to cut three separate checks, the single check amount exceeded ATM deposit limit. FMFCU refused to help leaving me no option other than wasting an entire day (3+ hour drive each way) to deposit in the new bank's main branch (due to Covid, all other branches were closed to walk-ins). A week later I log into the one remaining account I left open to ensure all checks had cleared and I see an $8.95 "Inactivity" fee! The service center informed me the fee was because I hadn't used the Bill-Pay service for 90 days. Really??? The above is a snapshot of one week of headaches and frustrations endured from FMFCU trying to get MY OWN money, however, it is representative of every contact I've had with them over the last 7 or so years. Run, don't walk, to any other bank/credit union other than FMFCU. You'll save money and your sanity!

Good morning my name is Carol and today I received phenomenal service provided by Ms Bianca, I needed information from my account concerning a legal issue, Ms Bianca was very knowledgeable but most of all kind and patient, this was important to me because I am seventy years old and at the time had been up since 4:00 am stressing over the situation. Her quiet tone and demeanor along with the necessary information calmed me down. Thank you Franklin Mint for staffing employees like this. God bless and have a great day. Carol Scott

I can't give this credit union any stars. The powers that be at this credit union decided to go with an enhanced computer system for online banking but they failed to think it thru. I have my bills set up to pay online and with the old system all I had to do was sign in go to bill pay and bam, I was done. Not so with the enhancement, most of my bills didn't go through so now I have to manually put them all in again. If you are going make enhancements, make them work. I am actively looking for a new bank.
