I received a gift for Christmas and it was the wrong size. When I went to return it I was told I could only get store credit even though when my husband bought it he was told they take returns. It wasn’t mentioned that store credit only was the policy. After months of going back looking for something I wanted I finally gave in a purchased some “gold filled” rings and a necklace. I was told they were silver and filled with gold, whatever that means. I have been wearing the one ring for all of 4 hours now, not gotten it wet and my fingers are turning green. I didn’t expect great quality given the price but honestly I’d be better off with $10 jewelry from Amazon. I’m more upset given the quality that just getting a refund initially was not an option. I cannot see myself buying anything from here again.

Very unique jewelry store. Kind woman in there behind the counter. Somewhat helpful in trying to help me find certain items. Particularly antiques. Small business owner too. I'd like to promote her business in any way possible.

Seems like a nice store and the prices are reasonable, if somewhat high. But my issue was that my sister and I went in and were the only costumers -- the three young women working were staring us down as we made our way through the store. They didn't offer to help or properly greet us -- they just stared. It was awkward and we ultimately ended up leaving

Kuta remains my FAVORITE gift/jewelry store in Media (and there are a ton of cutesy stores on State Street alone). Over 35 years in Media - and a wonderful selection of jewelry and unique wearables (fashion in the back). We just LOVE it here. Holiday shopping, hostess gifts and birthday presents. Want something unique? Come to Kuta.

If I could give a -1 star I would. Don't buy anything here unless you know you'll never need to return it. The return policy is terrible they only give you "credit" which is almost impossible to use. They keep an index card of your "credit" but unbeknownced to the customer, you have to have your yellow slip of paper receipt (like an old diner receipt) when you want to use it. If you don't have it, as most customers wouldn't, the store keeps your credit. The rude lady who was about 50 years old, probably the owner, since she was counting cash at the time I was browsing, said they marry your receipt tho their index card, and said how else would we know if the credit was used? We'll rude lady, you take the card out of your index box when it's used. I'm filing a BBB complaint. Where is this unreasonable return policy stated? They don't even have a website to look that information up. Sounds like a hady business practice to me.

Kuta's selection of jewelry and textiles is diverse and high quality. I love that they promote fair trade and sustainability in the trade. The employees are friendly and are always very helpful. Of the many small businesses in media, this is a must go to spot!! There are many bohemian, cute, and unique styles for all range of ages!

I have been purchasing items there for years but on Sunday (2/6/2022) I was rudely dismissed. My girlfriend and I had a necklace which was purchased there a couple years ago, and were looking for some help finding a way to get the item fixed. I started a pleasant conversation with an attendant behind the counter when another employee, acting like the owner, stepped in, stated that there was nothing to be done and dismissed us with a goodbye. I have my suspicions on why we were treated so rudely but I have no proof. Such a shame, since I normally purchased here frequently.

I have been going to Kuta for a long time. I went in to buy several pieces of jewelry and was greeted with put your mask on. I apologized, told her I was vaccinated and put it on. I put a pair of earrings to my ears and put my mask down for a minute and she said you don't have it on properly. I asked her about being confused by this because I was under the impression the mask policy was lifted and she got defensive. It was just conversation. I was confused....needless to say I just left. Recommendation to Kuta It's all in the delivery.
