Cozy place for coffee and breakfast with friends and co-workers! Yummy food - had a Great Breakfast sandwich - generous portion (for me). Good service. Clean, pretty venue. I don't live nearby but would definitely visit again when I'm out there.

Came to get coffee. Very slow service. Took like 10 min to get cup of americano with only 2 customers in front of me. Coffee really bad. Watered down so can’t even taste it. First and last time here. Do not recommend unless you like bad coffee…

Mocha latte was very good as well as the smoothie. $15 for the 2, so a little pricey.Parking: Several spaces that support the strip center.

Ms. Dee's beignets are delicious! So is the cold brew, especially the hazelnut... Drink it black, you won't regret it.

Enjoyed a Media Bean brunch recently with a breakfast sandwich, lunch wrap & beignets with raspberry reduction for dessert. Both iced decaf coffee(kept cold in refrigerator so no ice, which waters it down, was needed) and a cappuccino, which were both excellent!Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat, brief coffee date, or spot to grab sweet treats as they have prepackaged baked good at the ready!

When I was scheduled to travel over the bridge to Pennsylvania for early Friday settlements during a weather alert and a bridge reconstruction project, I decided to beat the rush hour traffic and find a cafe to hang out in until it was time. After reading other reviews, I picked Media Bean Cafe. It seems the experience has either been wonderful for patrons, or it has been terrible. Not much in between. It peaked my curiosity. My first impression walking in was that it was not busy. The dining area is quite large compared to most, which I prefer, and had one table occupied by a few businessman, who appeared to be regulars. But as I checked out the local goods they were selling on display, I noticed a lot of their business is to-go. At least during the opening hours of the day.I was greeted by the manager, which I did not know, until I asked. She was so incredibly sweet as if I had just been invited into her home for coffee or tea. I told her this was my first visit and she pointed out the menu and we talked about the different types of coffee they had on hand that morning. I like a medium roast, but sometimes it can be too strong or too light. She suggested “Jamaican Me Crazy” and I am so glad she did because it was so, so good!I didn’t want a large breakfast, because I had another settlement back in New Jersey at noon where we had a spread of lunch planned. The assortment of baked goods was quite impressive. It was a difficult decision until I saw the strawberry scone. Oh, if this place was closer to my home, my waist line would be in trouble. That’s how good the scone was! And, never offered to me anywhere else, she warmed it up for me. So service was definitely spot on. That’s when I asked if she owned the place because the pride in the service was evident. There are some extra features worth mentioning. There is a “stage” in the front corner. It appears they have live music from time to time. They cater - again I did not try their hot prepared food, but the selection looks delicious. It really stuck out to me that they use nice China and real silverware for dining service. It’s hard to explain if you have not been there, but the feel of the place is more of a bed-and-breakfast. I felt at home or on a relaxed my vacation while I dined. As always, I am looking for good coffee, some good food, and a nice atmosphere. This place checked off all three. If you have not been, and you are hesitant because of some of the reviews, I find this is a great example of trying it out for yourself. It was a very nice experience for me, and I will be back when I am back in the Media area.#trustkj

Walked up, place was nearly empty barring one customer at a table. Waited for about a minute, notified staff I was waiting, waited for another 7 and left after being ignored. Not really sure what’s going on with this place but maybe that’s why it was empty?

This was the WORST experience I’ve ever had with takeout. Save your money and go elsewhere. I was told the food would take a while because they had 2 orders ahead of mine and it looked like only 1 cook. No biggie, we weren’t in a rush. What really happened was 4-5 other orders went out including people who had ordered after me. When I asked about my order I was given a snarky response, “I told you it would take awhile”. Meanwhile everyone who ordered after me had gotten their food. We waited an HOUR for 2 sandwich’s. It was so disorganized, I have no clue how they are in business. I love supporting local shops and understand waiting for good food, but this experience was one that ruins your day. My husband put it best, we’d rather throw away $50 then come back here.

Solid coffee and a rather amazing selection of breakfast offerings. The brisket eggs Benedict was hands-down my favorite – it comes with a slab of brisket that's about a half inch thick - and is literally a meal in itself. The breakfast potatoes are probably some of the best that I've had, across five states in the northeast. And they do a passable beignet. The only thing they're missing is chicory coffee.

Newtown square location: big space for not many customers. No posting anywhere on price of smoothies. Turned out to be almost $9.00 but we asked. Just me and my husband getting small breakfast and it came to over $40.00. You must be kidding. ALL breakfast items are considered a "side" so if you want eggs? That's $5.00 want bacon? That's another $5. Want potatoes and toast? That's another $10. Seriously???? First Watch has a nice Farmers breakfast as do most restaurants with eggs, choice of meat, toast and potatoes for 6.99--11.99. Not Ala carte. Who wants to spend like $25. On eggs and dinky side items. Husbands coffee was $3.50. He got runny eggs Benedict with a cheese sauce that didn't taste that great. Turkey bacon was greasy and had a chemically taste. The prices were OUTRAGEOUS.... !!! You will not get customers to return with your crazy prices. I also was told if I wanted a banana in my smoothie instead of raspberries they would charge me more. Seriously?? The cashier was really nice but seemed nervous about not following the rules. She kept telling us, that's what the boss wants. Yea, but whatever he says.... I'm like ok, boss. We won't be returning. It's sad what happened to the other place that used to be there. Look around at Apple walnut Cafe, first watch, and local diners. See their prices? Yea? Ok.

Walked out! This place was DEAD! Establishment is confusing. Sign says seat yourself, but we were called to the counter to get menus. The smell of dirty fry oil was nauseating!!! Asked for just a plain cheese omelette, said they will only make what's in the menu. So we left!

Most of the good reviews here historically are for the Media location. This new Newtown Square location is not as good. First of all it’s always closed. I just tried going on a Tuesday at 930am and it was closed despite the sign saying Tuesdays are open since 7am. It’s already closed on Mondays so the other random closings are so annoying! Second the espresso drinks are usually made too hot and scald your tongue. I really want to support local and was excited for this to open close by, but I’ve been here about 15x (double that when I count the times I’ve tried to come but it’s closed) and unfortunately the experience is not great and I only come bc it’s the closest coffee place to me.
