Store is nice, but things were moved and items could not be located that indicated were in stock. Limited staffing made it impossible for us to look at some pets we were interested in purchasing and little knowledge was known about animals they care and sell. Been in this store several times in which groups of employees were behind counter on phones or too busy talking among themselves to help the customers with questions. Seems like some employee training maybe lacking here. Last trip to this location after 4 failed attempts to look at and purchase a pet, pet food and other various items.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of pet products. Great deals on their cat litter, you bring back your empty cat litter pail and refill it for a discounted rate. Live animals looked great, young ferrets were having fun playing in their habitat. Highly recommend.

The store is close by and there's good parking. We had our puppy's claws trimmed. It went very well. The people working here are clearly animal lovers.

My bichon poodle mix was shaved so closely that I couldn’t even walk him without him sitting every two seconds he is so traumatized. I will never bring him back to Petco at Granite run again.I looked up why he was doing that and it said he has shaved burns.

Of all the chain pet stores I've visited, this specific location deserves a million stars. All of the pets were happy and actually in ideal conditions for their species.

Very disappointed in my grooming services lately. I came with my dog last week for a walk in nail appointment only to be told they aren’t doing walk ins anymore, well no where does it say that and even on the app it wouldn’t let me schedule because it said it was a walk in. So I scheduled an appointment for a nail trim for today and when I was checking out the girl told me it was $23 and I said why so much? She said well I trimmed her nails and buffed them. I said I didn’t ask you to buff them, I scheduled a nail trim and then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to add a tip on the card? Since when does Petco ask for a tip? I’m sorry I don’t agree with that, it makes people feel uncomfortable and obligated. I don’t think I will be back. Just giving others this info for future.

Variety is okay. We bought a dog tag. Within 3 months it was missing parts. Asked for a replacement. Was made to buy a new one and told to call the brand customer care. $17 for a dog tag is too expensive to break, but too little to waste an hour of my life on hold to replace. Should stand behind their sale and help a customer out.

Carrie is amazing in grooming. Has taken care of my big girl with a double coat quite a few times and she always comes back happy, feeling and looking great. Carrie is sweet and mindful of needs and wants and truly does a careful and wonderful job.

Love this Petco they have the coolest fish I've ever seen! Prices are pretty reasonable although the betta fish have really become expensive. And the people could be a little bit nicer there. But all in all really nice clean place with beautiful fish and a bunch of other animals that were cool to see. I only wish that we could interact maybe more with the smaller animals. Like have a day where you could like pet them and stuff.

Staff is always super friendly and helpful! Walter is especially knowledgeable and has helped me numerous times with good recommendations for food and toys for my super chewer dog. Store is clean and well organized. There’s a PetSmart closer to me, but I always come to this Petco instead.

We have our spaniel groomed there , and as always, her cut is on point. They are very much on point with their time they say 3hrs, it's pretty much spot on. You walk in and usually there is a quick hello. Great place.

Don’t bring your dog here to be groomed. I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks ago for 4/11 at 9:30 am. I arrived early and sat in my car until 9:30. When I walked to the grooming department the very rude and inconsiderate employed said my dog couldn’t be groom because I didn’t arrive at 9:15 I politely explained that I was told to arrive 15 minutes early. She still refused to groom my dog I asked to speak with the store manger and she was very nonchalant and didn’t show that she even cared. Every time I come to this store the staff is very rude and can never help. This store is the worst pet store ever. I called petsmart and explained the situation and they were very understand and groomed my dog within the hour. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING ELSE FROM ANY PETCOS EVER AGAIN AND I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN GRANITE RUN PETCO AGAIN. Review on grooming salon only.I went to go pick up my dog after getting a call&text saying he’s ready. I waited about 10 minutes with nobody acknowledging me while the groomer finished her service with the current dog. Then when she came out, i told her I’m picking up and she takes in another dog and tells me to wait some more because shes now in the middle of another service. Clients picking up their dogs should be able to get their dog first so they can get out and free up space. All around a stupid experience. The groomer was inefficient and lacked any sort of social skills let alone customer service.
