Republic Bank has done an extremely poor job informing customers of the issue of preauthorized transactions on their accounts. This poor performance is eclipsed by their apparent lack of concern how their customer's balances and access to their cash would be impacted. A general message on their website would have been appropriate. A call to customer service earlier this week revealed Republic was not willing to admit this problem, and in fact was met with total dishonesty. In light of this and other operational miscues over the past two years we will be transitioning to another bank.

Their new app ruined the dates of all of my purchases and balance and when i called the location of where i got my card from, Ramona from the Media, PA location hung up on me when i called. I was speaking in a nice tone but when i got upset because the app was making life impossible she just didn’t want to hear it and hung up on me like a piece of trash. Once this is fixed Im switching banks. 6 year customer just tired of this shenanigans. This has happened 1 too many times already.

Great little bank. They have a free coin counting machine yes can you believe that still exists. Plus lolipops and biscuits for the pups. ??

I have been a customer for over 6 years and always enjoy making deposits or getting gift cards. All the employees always greet me and make me feel special. The service always exceeds my expectations. I frequently recommend Republic to my clients and look forward to more branches opening in Delaware County in the future.

What a fabulous bank! I don't have any accounts here, but recently stopped in to cash in some change. I was in and out in a flash, and they don't charge non-customers anything to use their machine (bye bye Walmart CoinStar!). The store looked basically brand new - I'm not sure how long it has been there - and the guy at the counter was super nice to boot. I will certainly be using their coin machine again.

Can't believe that this bank wouldn't give me change for a larger bill. I had 20s and needed a clean $100 bill for a wedding card, but was told I needed to open an account first. Went to Trader Joes for change, no problem.

Their customer service is amazing. This is a one stop shop bank! If you have a problem with your account you can walk directly into their local branch and they will help you . If your problem can't be resolved in branch they call customer service to fix your problem. They also offer a lollipops and dog treats. The decor is beautiful and retro. The employees are professional and courteous. I am particularly fond of the Media,PA branch ! I've never had a bank go above and beyond , but they do thanks Republic !
