Rose Tree County Park is a large and well-maintained community park located on Providence Road in Media, Delaware County. Originally the county horse race track, it now offers plenty of space for picnics, activities, and dog walking. The park features a spacious, open area with green grass, trees lining the background, and a large stage for concerts and events, including summer musical festivals and performances by local acts and tribute bands across various genres. An excellent open-air stage hosts many events, making the park lively and active, especially during weekends with concerts and special summer events. The park is very dog-friendly, accommodating well-behaved, off-leash dogs in the open spaces. It also has a fun, fenced playground with shade in the late afternoons, although it lacks baby swings. Restrooms are available, including accessible and oversized portable units, and there are numerous picnic areas with dedicated tables for comfort. Visitors can enjoy relaxing benches, a police memorial, and a variety of spots to have a picnic or simply enjoy the scenery. Overall, Rose Tree County Park offers a versatile and enjoyable outdoor experience for families, dog owners, and community members alike.
Quiet place. There are two trails across two sides of the park. Can hear water flowing in creek!

Nice park, clean, has good programs for the public throughout. It's a shame the baby Jesus Manger was missing from the Christmas lights show.

They have live music and they are pet friendly. During the day it is peaceful and perfect for a walk or a morning jog. I personally prefer the twilight hour it is especially beautiful.
