Being a Nurse in the Geriatric field of over 20yrs, I’ve observed several Geriatric Facilities. Upon entering the Main Lobby, it was Extremely Nice, but so are Every Other Facility…90% of the time once You get off the elevator to the patient rooms, it turns into a Nightmare! It was beyond Refreshing that this was the Complete and Total Opposite @ Sterling! The Staff was very relaxed and kind, which is a such a rarity now. I’ve learned that the best indicator of how a facility truly is would be the Residents. Stevie Wonder could see how Well Cared for The Residents are at Sterling! The interaction between Staff and the Residents was Warm..Real..Like Family..Like it Should Be. Unfortunately, this Type of Facility is a Dying Breed, but it felt good to be in an environment where it was Obvious the # 1 Concern wasn’t MONEY, in was THE RESIDENTS❤️

I think they'd rather see you dead. They say address a serious problem and find out nothing is done. They pass the buck and really don't care. My advice, find another facility. So disgusted.

My Dad passed peacefully at Sterling in the comfort and warmth of the 3rd floor staff. I could feel the caring and see the effort the entire staff working not only with my Dad but all the residents on this floor. The administration and nursing staff are the finest people in helping my Dad and family through this part of our lives. I highly recommend the Sterling Center.

I have been to Sterling several times for physical rehab.I was able to spend quality time with both OT and PT therapist. They were professional, challenging, compassionate, warm and friendly. I can this for the other staff as well. I highly recommend Sterling for rehab.Richard House

I worked at Sterling for almost a year. I must say that I really enjoyed all of the staff, residents and families. I felt that the staff really care about the residents and treated them like family.

Just want to amend my comments on Sterling Health Care & Rehab Center for updating me on all of my possible problems - they have reached out to me and I am pleased to say that all of the obstacles that I seemed to have been unable to get resolved were resolved exactly with in a few hours of my posting my concerns. Sterling has far exceeded these obstacles and I congratulate on the expediting these obstacles - Great Job for all involved and you know who you are - Thanks again.

Horrible! Morning nurses are rude and some evening nurses are to. Carlos is the only nurse that was kind, intelligent, and seemed like he truly cared! I seen a nurse snatch things from an elderly woman and call her stupid! The place is beautiful from the outside looking in but after visiting my grandmother for 2 weeks i noticed the floor was never cleaned, they werent properly caring for her, and the more we visited her the more we received bad news about her condition! They let her sit in her bowls for hours and were not rotating her! She ended up having a hugh bed sore on her bottom and the nurse did not take responsibility for it. Instead she lied and said she came there with it! The nurse who has been helping us to take care of her for the past 8 years happen to be there that day and she told the nurse that she washed granny up the day she came there and that bed sore was not there. The nurse got agitated becuz of that n kicked her out and told her she can never come visit granny again or the cops would be called! We kept a bible at grannys feet and would read pslams 23 b4 we left every night! We found the bible stuffed in her drawer! To top it all off these crazy people took her off all of her pain meds and began giving her extra strength tylnol for a freaking BROKEN LEG!!! who does that??? My family and i are very disappointed!
