had the weirdest experience at this tj maxx. was trying to mind my business and check out while a rude cashier kept asking me invasive questions about my health and projecting strange assumptions onto me due to my appearance (it was the white ashy/brown blonde girl gen z esque). such an absurd experience i couldn’t believe it was real; will not be returning. would advise all to stay away

Hello. I enjoyed my experience here today. I have been making the rounds of TJ Maxx's. I create gift baskets. I purchase the contents for the gift baskets, such as a candle, a mug, lotions, hand washes and nail sets, all here at TJ Maxx. I enjoy creating the gift baskets, but I love it when I see the look of surprise and joy and happiness when I present it to the person that I made it for. For me, that look is worth more than a million dollars. I visited the one in the City Line Shopping Center, the one in Broomall - Lawrence Park and the one in Jersey. This is the fourth TJ Maxx that I have patronized. I love their selection of products. One thing I do not like is the associate's always asking if I would like to apply for their card. I realize that is their job to ask, as they ask everyone, but I prefer to pay by cash and not use the card. I am referring to the rewards card that TJ Maxx carries and to get it, you have to apply for it by revealing your personal information. I do not choose to disclose that and I prefer to use the method of paying that I am currently using, which is cash without the rewards. I liked it here very much and I will return when I need more items for another gift basket. Have a pleasant day.

So I see racial profiling is still a thing at this store( dispite the pending lawsuite and TikTok video exposing it) . Extremely obvious and demeaning to be literally followed around the store .. just to make sure I wasn’t overthinking it , I lost my tail. A minute or so later I observed a store employee run up behind me and begin talking into her mic set .. I didn’t not hear what she said but realized it was about me. Out of nowhere guess who found me , the store undercover. This chick picked right back up following me, sadly this same scene happened every time I slipped her. I purchased what I needed as the manager stood near the exit .. I guess to grab me if the alarm went off .. Lol sad, this really makes me want pull out my phone and Social Media shame them but instead I will be calling to report the store on Monday to corporate.

We patiently waited in line for approximately five minutes, during which there were no other customers ahead of us or behind us. Upon approaching the cashier, who pretended to be preoccupied, we courteously requested assistance. The overweight Caucasian woman, adorned with heavy makeup who looks like a burnt orange declined to serve us, stating she was not accepting any customers she acted provocatively when she said this carelessly she went on her phone giggling and texting. The blonde cashier called us over to assist us, and moments later, within seconds, the overweight woman began serving other customers with a smile at her register who are white… Although my mother and I are both white, the cashier likely discerned our Arab Muslim identity when she noticed my mother wearing a hijab. This incident left us feeling discriminated against, particularly as Arab Muslims. It's important to note that our family has been loyal patrons of this mall for several decades before it turned into a shopping center without encountering any racist issues. However, the service experienced today fell below expectations. We hope for an improvement in the future the cashiers were really all dry not talkative at all didn’t even try to put some of our other stuff in bags. DO BETTER WE BEEN SHOPPING HERE FOR DECADES… my parents were both here in the USA since the 1980s we are NOT refugees!! TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH SOME RESPECT.

although it is a good store, I would not go to that location. Multiple times cashiers are targeting elderly customers, and not putting all of their items in the bags and then returning the items themselves at a later time this is happened to multiple family members and it is an ongoing theme at this location very unprofessional, very unethical would never go there again. Buyer beware!
