Staff was awesome and clear about rules and ran the matches well. The store is well stocked and the prices are right. Concessions are nothing fancy but almost as cheap as eating at home and will keep you going. Quite a few people showed up and I didn't meet anyone that I wouldn't enjoy playing with again, great crowd. Rentals are solid and the price is more than fair. I can't wait to come back even though it's a 90 minute drive.

Let me start out by saying that my friends and I are new to airsoft. A quick google search brought me to Mercer Airsoft Center and after an hour drive my GPS brought me to a long driveway that leads to as small staging area. The first time there I was confused by the lack of signage as the driveway is quite long if you don't know where you are going.Seeing all the people gearing up, I headed into the check in/ store and met the staff. They were very friendly and eager to explain how things work. It does get crazy at the beginning with everyone eager to check in and chronograph their guns. The staff was professional, and quite funny. They made me and my wife feel welcome and gave advice for gear. The fields are very large, and you do have to do a bit of walking from one side to the other. If it's a TD game or Attack and defend and you are not the best player like me. You will do the walk of shame...a lot. Gameplay is usually pretty even, only a few games being one sided. I get shot a lot in these games and never got injured. The field takes safety very seriously. Rules of engagement distances (based on Crono speeds mostly) are explained at the safety brief, so I'm not getting lit up at point blank.I have played here now around 6 to 10 times (if you count the times i just came to shop while near grove city) and each time has been a lot of fun. 5 stars

This place is awesome. Lots of fun matches. The personnel in the store are friendly and very knowledgeable and offer many airsoft products for sale.

After one of us made a miner mistake he says quote “why you have a smirk on your face, you got something to say?” I was just trying to have a good time. Later in the day they were really strict on the rules and made my friend sit out a whole game which was 45 minutes who was taking his magazine out while walking to the field, notice this is both our first times here. Also, when our other friend who is over 18 got yelled at for wearing safety glasses even though there were many other people wearing pit vipers and other sorts of glasses, they made him pay for a whole face mask after we paid and waited to pay. Very bad service except the guy at the front desk who was very chill and gave us tips while playing.

Third time playing here. Zero signage to find the place on your first visit. Trust the GPS and turn into the house driveway. The refs have always been on top of enforcing the rules each time I’ve played here. Always have had at least 2 refs and sometimes more.A daily safety brief is supposed to be at 11:30 according to the website….2 of the 3 times it started well before 11:30. You will miss the first game of the day if you trust that brief to start when the website says. Arrived at 11:28 today and the brief was long over already. The field has a lot of thick brush and some more open areas with containers/sheds. The staff does a good job of changing “game modes” and utilizing different portions of the field at different times. I’ve read some complaints regarding the overgrowth of the field… I will say that for the service provided and cost of entry….brush is not an issue. Stay out of thick brush and let your aim do the talking in a more open area.Concessions are very fairly priced for drinks/snacks during the visit. There is numerous covered tables but those seem to fill up fast. My family has brought a pop up canopy each time, the staff is very lenient on setting up your own little base camp in the grassy yard area.Never had any major issues with player base at the location. Everyone is friendly and welcoming for the most part.Rated 4 out of 5 just due to the safety brief mistiming and unprofessional language (swearing and inappropriate jokes with kids present) from the staff at most times.Overall recommend, I’ll continue to play here!

Would of gave a 5 but the semi automatic for game play doesn't work for how big the field is other then that it's a nice place

Sheldon here, I would say this is my home field and I haven't really played anywhere else. I've had maybe 6-7 runs here and I can't say its a terrible experience nor a 5 star one. I have to take a star away just because most of the trails don't seem mowed when summer rolls around nor bushes whacked or maintained. Buildings are being repaired and cargo crates finally have holes in them (kinda wanna see a ladder and look out nest installed on the cargo crates). A lot of field obstacles have grass that grows up onto them during the summer and this is where you can see the field is just left there through the summer, its actually pretty hard to see the cover or tires before you trip over them sometimes. I also wish they would take some time and thin the forested area a little since branches create these narrow tunnels that you are forced down.Alot of your game play will be walking down one of the main trails and trying to figure out when to duck off to the side to start the little kid hunt in the bushes. Its gotten so bad that I bought a thermal scope to find the little bush wookies this year. You can't hide from me now ya little buggers. Most of the regulars here know to rush the middle as fast as you can so you can camp out in the bushes the entire game. That's why I really whish some of these bushes get removed so we can have a more open fight between buildings and players. As for the player base most of them are honorable and don't cheat but some of the new people don't calls hits. When this happened I had asked the ref to keep an eye on them, told them I hit them in the mask, I watched the bb smack em and bounce away. And they did a good job making sure that new player then called their hits from then on.Game modes are always good, they switch it up. Usually a tdm then a defend and attack sequence. The last game is always random which is kinda fun.I only had one meh day when at mercer and that was during a milsim where one side had about 20 extra people cause they didn't meet uniform requirements for the other team. This lead to my team playing cards in a cargo crate for half the match waiting for the enemy team to get close. The enemy never won one of those games, not even close. I heard mercer staff sometimes does not run those events which is a shame. In summary, the field is good but nature needs to be reeled in a bit. Players and staff are good. All around good experience most of the times you go. Do not attend the milsim events, they are not run well.

A fantastic place to get your airsoft gear, replicas, and advice. The staff is very kind and is very friendly to new players. The player base is welcoming new and old players. The field is very good about making sure that teams are very well balanced. I love this place and will continue to play here.

Great field, little muddy but that's outdoors for you. Great players and Marshall's who stay on top of things when they aren't. Will be visiting again soon.

Great prices on gear. Excellent suggestion. Staff was pretty friendly. Lots of little kids running around with airsoft guns. Seems to be a hangout for local junior high and high school kids.

Poorly run operation, field is always extremely muddy and layout is not intuitive. Owner acts like an manchild, cheaters run rampant. I suggest going to another field, the locals play here because it’s the ONLY option in the area, take the trip and go somewhere else(Owner claims they don’t have record of me playing, why would I go to a random airsoft field and leave a poor review that falls in line with the other poor reviews on your page? Another example of the “manchild owner” avoiding responsibility and lying straight up to potential customers, just sad.)
