I've lived here in Meshoppen going on 20 yrs. Best move I ever made. But anyway, it's the only place my husband and I get our cold cuts. All their meat selections are good. If you want something special all you have to do is ask the butcher. A few yrs ago I needed more than normal sausage sweet and hot. He was able to order me between 5 and 6 lbs each he had the ready at the store for me. It's like family shopping there.

I’ve only lived in this area for about two years now, and I have to say that Marty’s meat selection and the quality of pork, beef, chicken, etc. is top-notch! Every time I go to the deli counter to get freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses, there is a lovely lady there who is always smiling and who is always so helpful and friendly (thank you K!) For a smaller store, Marty’s has a very good selection of products to choose from, and most anything can be found there for a very reasonable price. I will definitely continue to shop at Marty’s Market.

It's a nice country store. There meat is always fresh. Marty butcher is own meat and makes fresh Hamburg and steaks and beef roast. And his shaved beef for cheese steaks are the best. The store is always clean and the workers are always friendly.

The prices are a bit higher than chains, but that's to be expected & worth it considering I don't have to drive 8 miles to Weis or Walmart.
