Worst place to send your loved one for rehab . Seems they are trying to make him worse so he has to stay just to get all his money . Facility Drs override what family doctor says . Short on help sits in messed bed for hours before someone comes to help. Terrible food . Just not the same as it was when it was Frye Village .

Rehabilitation side....Mother came in on Wednesday night, no physical therapy for 2 days, received occupational therapy, but no physical therapy. Nothing to drink besides with a meal, of course you can't receive 8 full glasses a day if you eat 3 meals a day. It smells like urine. My mother rang the bell for over an hour to get assistance to the rest room, in which she decided to try herself and fell. She could've popped open her stitches or worse, it was 10 minutes before someone realized she had fell and assisted her up. That was the 3rd day of her being there. My brother went to visit my mother, one of the staff assisted him to find her room, and an empty liquor bottle fell out of her smock. It has taken over 5 hours and counting to have her discharged. Do not go to this place, room was filthy and took 3 days to clean the room.

Had relative stay and they requested to come back again. Relative was satisfied with the care that they received most of the time and they were comfortable. Place is clean, nursing staff does their best with the small staff. They need to improve on the food and the quality and quantity. Social workers need to improve on returning phone calls. This facility is better than most that I visited.

Staff refuse to contact the family members with any change. Lie continuously on patient status. No compassion. Social workers do not know how to advocate and preform their jobs appropriately. Nursing staff are rude. Administrator doesn’t understand their charting system. If you have a loved one there, get an outside representative involved. Otherwise, you won’t know if you loved one is alive and well, or deceased.

Cherl Bretz needs to be fired. She is a terrible human being and will NOT care for your sick loved ones. Today (4/16/23) I went to see my father that had a stroke and is in terrible condition and that's when I met Cherl. We started talking about my fathers condition and she said word for word "Hopefully one day I come in and he's gone, it would be better for everybody".This is totally unacceptable and there needs to be actions done because of this.

It was a mess when I first came here, nothing was done when I arrive. I came here to get rehab for my ankles I broke it. When going to the bathroom was a nightmare, had to wait sometimes over 2 hours for someone to come. Let's face it at my age 68 it's hard to hold it in, if you cough or sneeze everything will come out. I learn to use the wheelchair to go to the bathroom by myself it's faster. I still have to sometimes wait a long time for my pain meds. Things seem to get a little better when my daughter came up and put her foot down, she got some results, my granddaughter also came up to talk to them about everything to. I know they have others to take care of, but it shouldn't take that long to come to them. They are all nice, but some are so slow, but yet others can't do enough for you. Also some of thier food are horrible, whoever does the cooking needs cooking lessons, coffee can be hotter, I hate drinking cold coffee. There's was a lot of other issues, but I think they were taken care of.

First of all I have lived here for the past 2 years!! I want to say they just sold this home and we as residents have not gotten any info of how this will effect us! We originally heard about this from staff the day it was official! For some reason this whole sale has been hush hush! I want to say most of the staff are great! Food is great and some of the housekeeping staff are really great, some of them go out of their way to help me! Food is good and the dietary staff was working on some great changes! Activities are good when we are able to have them! However there are issues with the person in charge, she has no empathy for the residents and will do nothing about complaints!Staff is under paid and over worked. They need to show a lot more appreciation for all they do for their residents! They make the days more tolerable! No place is perfect but they need a lot of changes!!I know I will probably get into trouble for stating my opinion but I had to say something!Frey was sold as of December 1, 2021, as of 12/16/2021 we have not had any info about the company that bought the home and we can’t find them on the internet!

Never place a loved one in this rehabilitation facility. My father broke his arm there because they had failed to place him in non-slip socks. Afterwards, the staff would not assist him with toileting, nor would they cut-up his food for him, unless I called to request this. Some of the aides actually taunted and teased my father. Furthermore, phone calls made to this facility were rarely answered, and when they were answered, the staff would often sigh with exasperation. Ultimately, my father would sit for hours on end in a soiled diaper because his calls made to the nurses' aides' station also were rarely answered. The one-star rating is being given only because the review cannot be posted without a minimum rating. Otherwise, this would be a zero rating.

I paid the yearly $9 fee that was sent to my house 2x but the 3rd year they sent me a letter stating that I didn't pay the first two (but the checks were cashed?). I only sent in $9 instead of $27 like they wanted because I didn't owe $18 if it. Back then they had a sketchy looking bill with no contact info just the address to send the money to so I sent a letter explaining the situation. Heard nothing back. Today I got a bill that says I owe $45 ($9 for 5 years) but I have only lived here for 4 years! I tried calling the number listed on the bill (it looks like an actual bill now) but there wasn't anyone answering. I think this is a bogus company or at the very least they have poor record keepers. I'm not paying more than I actually owe and after this whole debacle they are lucky I'm even paying the $9.

Apparently, No toilet paper given at facility. My mother in law asked for to, and 9 hours later she got it. Needed help to get to the bathroom, 2.5 hours later, after she couldn't hold it anymore someone finally came. This place should be cited!

They refuse to stop sending junk mail in my dead mother's name despite multiple phone calls requesting it. Every time I get mail from them, it reopens that wound. Their callous disregard for basic courtesy doesn't speak well to the care they provide.

I could not say enough nice things about Frey Village, the care that my mother received was far beyond anything that myself and family expected. The nursing staff there was great, very compassionate, and can tell they are lead by an excellent DON who really cares for the residents, under there care. The therapy team was fabulous as well, they were on point and very encouraging. Facility was clean, the food was okay, but they do the best they can to please everyone. Would recommend to anyone looking for a facility.
