The triage nurse is really good but the doctors I have seen are not very knowledgeable. They don’t even know where to refer you to. It’s very frustrating. They wanted to start talking about putting me on heart medication because my BP was elevated in the office. I’m healthy and in shape. I have a normal BP at home. Be careful. You have to be a steward of your own healthcare any longer. Don’t use the messaging through the health portal, people will misread it like you’re angry when you’re only frustrated like a normal person. Based on my experiences I would say look elsewhere.

Not sure what has happened to this office in the past 6 months but it has really gone downhill. Very disappointed with the people answering the phone and not getting th e information correct. UGH!!!

15 years I was a patient here! Let's just say the new staff of RN's they have are horrible. Super rude not caring get you in and out of the room rushing you. I was treated horrible by a certain nurse that has the worse spray tan. Very stuck up personality. Decided to changed doctors. I got treated better in the Harrisburg area then I did at this location that speaks volumes.Don't recommend this facility at allHorrible

Certain staff are unprofessional, I went with my daughter to her appointment, and the nurse Jenn, talks down to you, very rude. She just had another bad experience today as well, with another nurse, training needs updated or if you don't like your job, find another. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this practice.

The front staff is ok. However if you want to waste time and money this is the place for you. You'll get nothing but the runaround. I been coming to this clinic for the last 2 years. Decided to get a 2nd opinion with UPMC and would recommend going there instead. They actually listen to you. Within a week they figured out what is causing my pain issues.

Find a new phone receptionist. "jonnisha" is not a very happy person to talk to. If you're that miserable, go to a job where you don't have to talk to people.

I was impressed with my visit the first few times, but extremely disappointed now. Lack of communication is extreme! To go weeks without a portal response. Also, when they go to reschedule they do not call to ask if times are okay - They will just send you a letter in the mail stating that this is your appointment now. No consideration to your life, work schedule, or the fact that you already took off work for this appointment. Though they will state that they “tried to reach out” Not to mention appointments every 6 months to a year is ridiculous! Especially when you are already established with a doctor and undiagnosed living in extreme pain everyday best luck elsewhere in my opinion!

I really liked it here! I had to move away but talking with Dr. Thompson was the first time I truly felt seen with my stomach issues. This is a safe space ?

Cant seem to ever get a sick visit! I called to make my daughter a regular check up appt for MY DAY OFF. We get there at 7:05am for them to tell me it isn’t til tomorrow (when I work) I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to and the answer was of course no and we are booked today. No surprise they’re always booked for everything. So unless you need appt weeks or months out, I don’t recommend. You’ll end up at urgent care every time. Defeats the purpose of having a primary care doctor!

the GI dept is a JOKE, i was a patient here for a year and they did absolutely nothing for me. I explicitly expressed what i was going through and they kept giving me a wrong diagnosis but kept insisting they were right with no proof. please never go here if you want actual care for your health

I am extremely shocked about how poor my care has been at this facility. I discussed doing PT with my doctor and I requested a referral as my insurance requires it. I made several calls as the PT facility never got the referral and neither did my insurance. After a week or two I decided to contact my primary in the hershey group as well. Their office didn't understand why I needed the referral sent to my insurance first either. However, within 1-2 weeks. The primary's office had worked it out. This rheumatology office never sent the referral correctly then just stopped sending them entirely. On top of that, the staff isn't very patient friendly in general. I once had an online visit that I had set up a month prior then got no link. Once I made the call to tell them that, they informed me that it was changed to an in-person visit. This was 15 mins out from my appointment and I live 30 mins away so i couldn't make that visit. I also couldn't reschedule as my doctor had a 4month wait. I also haven't been able to visit the facility because the doctors refuse to accommodate my disability because it is related to face coverings. Never received such poor care at Hershey until I scheduled with this facility. I have gotten the run around so many times. It has been a waste of my time, energy, and money. I wouldn't recommend going here.

Staff was nice and pleasant. My issue was with my PA that did not appear to know what he was doing. Kept telling me that I might need to go tothe ED. He sent me for tests then called me back and told me to go to the ED, but that it wasn't emergent. I ended up waiting til the next morning to go, only to get there and the ED asked why I was there. I said I don't know. They looked at my test results and said there was nothing there that indicated I needed to go the ED. 3 hours later they sent me on my way with a big bill (I am self pay) and a follow up consult back to my PCP.

The staff is friendly and the nurses are typically quick to return a phone call if you need to speak to one of them. Portal messages are answered promptly and concerns handled quickly. Dr Lutzkanin is competent for many concerns, but I can’t say I appreciate the way he messed with my heart meds when he admitted I was his only 20something patient with heart problems, and I felt condescended when I would inform him (out of courtesy as a fellow medical provider myself) of changes that my GI doctor made to my GI treatment plan and he often seemed displeased. To clarify: I work in a GI practice and prescribe the exact medications that I take myself. I personally find it pretty disrespectful to question a specialist on their own specialty…
