Been there twice. Nice staff. Lots of camp spots for RVs, tents, and cabins. Rent a golf card and tour the entire campground.

This is not what camping should be like. Impossible to relax. Golf carts are constantly driving by, up and down the roads without a destination, blaring music and honking the horn for no reason late into the night. I understand some people need golf carts to get around the park because it is not ideal for walking, but I have never experienced such disruptive behavior at a campground before. I could not let my children ride their bikes for fear they would get run over by people driving well over the 5mph speed limit.Campsites are packed close together and not very level. Activities for kids are fun but very crowded and some require long wait times to get your turn.Nearby activities: Ohiopyle State Park is a short 10-minute drive away and has many cool hiking trails and quaint shops to see. Close to FallingwaterSafety: Many young kids out driving golf carts unsupervised and well over the 5mph speed limit. Campground should really be better about enforcing speed limits and golf cart safety if they are going to allow so many people to have them there.

This was our 2nd time staying at Jellystone Mill Run. We had a great time in 2022; the upper pool was the highlight of our weekend (kids ages 10 and 12.) Our rental cabin was very small but was adequate for our needs as we spent most of the day outdoors. I was surprised at how clean it was for being a "rustic cabin"For our 2023 trip, the exact opposite was true. The upper pool water was freezing and there were young lifeguards using their cellphones and chatting with other employees. Due to the tornado the week before, we were allowed to bring our own chairs, which we were grateful for. The pool bathrooms were extremely clean. The Saloon had very limited ice cream flavors available when we visited (almost 8pm) and one of the employees couldn't tell me if a flavor had any peanut or tree nut ingredients, even though there is a sign on the display case reading: "Allergies? Ask us for details on products"Lastly, our cabin this weekend was lacking in the cleanliness department. When I wiped up water off of the floor, the paper towel was black. We did not walk in our cabin unless we had shoes on due to this. The silverware organizer (see picture) was filthy. All utensils had to be washed prior to use. Several cups and bowls were also not cleaned properly. There were a lot of cobwebs and dead bugs hanging from the windows, ceiling fan and a/c unit. The bathroom, however, was very clean. The shower floor had been scrubbed very well.Overall, it was a nice trip; just a few things to improve on that would justify the cost of staying.

My kids really enjoy this campground. There is a lot going on to keep them entertained and the water area is fantastic. Highly recommend the upper sites unless you want to spend a fortune on a golf cart. There were a few things we were unhappy about:On Tuesday, 8/1, they seemed very understaffed. Two of the girl life guards just sat openly on their phones rather than watching the pool like they are supposed to. It seemed like these young girls were just doing what they wanted and that there was no adult in charge making sure that they were doing their job. The other girl would at least try to hide her phone behind her floating device, but the other girl was ignorant enough to just openly sit on her phone the entire time she was watching the slide area. The water was freezing! Seems unreasonable for end of July/beginning of August.Unfriendly staff. Most people we had interaction with were not very friendly. Hardly anyone was smiling and seemed happy and willing to be there working - all young kids. The man that checked to see if we were about to check out (prior to check-out), was very unfriendly as well. He was sure to tell me that we had 6 minutes left. Keep in mind that although we were trying to enjoy every minute of our time, we were almost ready to pull out. If we were there 15 or 20 minutes past check out, I could see being addressed that way, but prior to check-out is inappropriate when it isn't in a professional/friendly manner. On the other hand, the men running the carousel and train were super friendly. The one young boy that was working the slides at the bottom of the hill on Monday (7/31) at the end of the day (he was also at the top of the slides on Wednesday 8/2), was also very nice and personable. The traffic is horrible!!! Between vehicles and golf carts, it is scary to let you kids ride bikes.Too long to check-in.Although it isn't obvious based on this post, I am not one to complain. However, the service here just rubbed me the wrong way. When I pay these prices for a campground, I expect good interactions between the workers and guests - similar to a hotel.

This was our first Jellystone park and we loved it! The kids had a blast! So much water play fun as well as other activities. The site we stayed in was well shaded. I do agree with some of the other reviews that young kids were running the upper water slides and seemed less than enthusiastic to be there. Grumpy sort of look, too cool to be running a water slide which actually requires a significant amount of responsibility to ensure water safety. Otherwise, my kids still had a blast. While the train was brand new with leather seats! The golf course, my husband joked that if you ever wanted to play on an abandoned and overgrown golf course, this was the one to go to lol. Our site was conveniently right by the outdoor movie theater and my 4 and 6 year felt so independent that they got to go there by themselves. Yes the golf carts were ridiculous running constantly and all hours until 11pm...but if you are in shape walking up the hill to the upper water park wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. You don't NEED a golf cart as others say you do. I pushed a double stroller with kids in it and our bags up the hill. We also went to Falling Water which was a short drive away and has been a goal of mine to visit for decades.Beware there is no great way to access the park without driving up some steep roads. We were pulling a small travel trailer with our SUV for the first time and this was difficult on our car. When we return it will be with a more powerful vehicle to pull our travel trailer up! Overall great stay. Felt like a throwback to how childhood should be, away from all the technology and just pure family time and fun.

Great kid place - great staff. The newer stuff was great - the older stuff needs some TLC. Really liked the themes and atmosphere.Bathrooms and showers need some attention. Mini golf needs an extreme makeover. Pools and Water slides were the favorite part for our Grandson.

Place was OK. Had rustic walk in tent sites, which are WAY to close to each other, slight hillside so nothing was level, flood lights from pool area lit up site all night, didn't feel rustic or remote. Quiet hours not till 11pm with golf carts cruising past site until then, playing music, they put a haunted trail in the woods by tent sites for Halloween themed weekend, not ideal for little kids trying to sleep with screams and chainsaw till 11:15pm. Pool was great but crowded. Kids on bikes and golf carts everywhere which is fine, golf carts are a must here. The cabins and pull in sites look more enjoyable, almost a neighbor hood in the woods, but not my idea of relaxing remote camping. Snowless tubing was so slow wouldn't recommend it, Trick or treating in August was fun. Sunday breakfast ordered 1 buffet and 3 meals. Once food came was told the meals were to go and was not allowed to eat inside since it was buffet only. Made my 4 year old cry since we were made to sit outside as my wife ate from the buffet inside, again no one told us and there was no exceptions lol. Overall older kids would like this place with a ton of things to do, not ideal for young kids or tent camping at all.

Jellystone Mill Run location was an amazing place. We rented a spot for our small travel trailor with full hookups. We chose to go in the back near the playground and field. The site number was 453. This site was shaded and very low-key compared to the sites up near the water park. The site was clean and ready to go. We had a super friendly escort help us back in. The sites were easy to get in and out of.The water park was also very nice. The kids had fun going from the pool to the splash pad to the big slides. My only complaint is that it gets super busy. From everyone I was talking to, I noticed a lot of people just come for the day. Makes it very busy. No chairs are available. There is just nowhere to sit. Overall, the water park was very nice and clean. Lifeguards were not paying much attention as they were on their phones a lot. This was a little concerning, but keep a close watch on your own kiddos. The activities were also nice. My kids did the ice cream social (we did wait in line for about an hour for this). In my honest opinion, the wait wasn't worth it, lol. We also did the picnic basket rides and the tube slides. All were a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed every single moment.Overall experience was a good one. The stay is expensive compared to other campgrounds. In my opinion, the only perk you get compared to other campgrounds is the pool area, so keep that in mind. We camped with other family members and that made it alot of fun. We will be back.

This place is extremely over priced. Yes, there are great amenities for the kids and the water park is fun. However the water in the slides was dirty. They are so understaffed that half of the items aren't open and if they are you have to wait forever because they only have one staff member for an entire area. The staff are rude and the activities are terrible. I will say it again THE STAFF ARE SO RUDE! There aren't many smiles...the staff seriously look like they completely hate everything about life. (Except for in the ice cream parlor and the store they were nice) we even had an older worker try and sell us an old dog chain and was serious about it (what?!) UPDATE: encountered even more rude staff. This place must be a horrible place to work because everyone is so grumpy. And whoever is in charge is completely wasting their money paying these people. Lifeguards are openly sitting on their phones instead of doing their jobs. Activities staff does nothing but look miserable. You pay extra for almost everything. We tried ceramics and paid $60 for 3 and then had 3 colors of paint to choose from. It looked like they hadn't purchased new paint brushes since 2010. The free crafts are junk (a paper plate to color with crayons that are ripped in half). When you do the activities you sit around and wait because the staff does nothing logical or efficiently. Which really wouldnt matter if they were friendly. My nephew accidentally dropped his ceramic and while the staff looked at me, I had to ask for a broom, which they then handed to me and watched as I cleaned it up (great customer service). We were really looking forward to this trip, but we're extremely disappointed. Our kids were extremely unsafe because staff and some other campers drive ridiculously fast in golf carts (especially staff). UPDATE: My kids almost got hit (with me holding their hands) multiple times but staff members driving way too fast in golf carts. There was also a man driving an excavator throughout the park at about 20 miles per hour and completely ignored my family trying to cross the road. (Again holding kids hands, half my family was already across the road and he went plowing through without stopping..I had to pull myself back to make sure I didn't get hit)We paid for an entire month of camping here. My daughter has to have her chemotherapy port removed on Thursday which I just found out about timing. We are supposed to stay another weekend, but she obviously won't be feeling well and can not use the water park. I explained to the front desk staff and asked if at all possible we could leave early and be refunded for the few days (because obviously this place is so crowded they could probably rebook our site) they said they would have to change my monthly rate to the single rate and back charge me more if we pulled out early. (What?!)We typically aren't ones to complain, but having gone to other Yogi (Harrisville) where they sing and dance with the kids, the bears are always around, they go above and beyond with fun activites and worth while crafts, I highly doubt we will return to this one.The best part of our stay was spending time with family which we can do for $500 less at a much nicer campground.Walkability: This place is a complete hill if you plan on walking.. dont. You will need a golf carts which is an extra $75 per day, and you have to book it a head of time or you will not get one...

There are lots of things to do compared to your average campground. Not maintained well in some places, better in most. Mini golf looked abandoned. The food is good at the ranger station. Cabin 79 doesn't have outlets in the bedroom with bunks, which was very strange. Overall I'd be back, but with these expectations.

UPDATE: Garbage gets picked up at 3am and chainsaws wake you up at 7am. WTH! Staff needs reorganized and maybe needs a pep talk look happy. Good luck sleeping with the mall cop driving around all night in his “gas” cart. This used to be are favorite place to go after this week it will be out last. Starting on Monday it smelled like sewage so bad we had to go in. Then the security guard was out yelling at people for making any noise and yelled at my son (who is 15) for trying to use the bathroom after curfew. He creeps around in the dark in his stupid cart like the mall cop - - Paul Blart wish version. Went from campsite to campsite sending people to there campers. If you want to have fun with your kids this is the place. If you want to try to relax and have a bit of fun then no. Last trip here for us.

Went here for the 1st time a couple of years ago, during COVID and was ok. Was short staffed and the world didn't know what to do, but still had fun. This time, was exceptional. Great family camping, plenty of activities, and character appearances were very frequent. We stayed a week and didn't want to leave at the end. Will be back.

This trip was with my family, seeing as my brother is soon leaving. Our trip was pretty good over all, until Glenda was being harsh and rude. She had stopped us for going through the wrong entrance. She yelled at the driver and then made the young passenger cry. She then stopped the man driving a cart that knew the other driver and yelled at him.

This place has it all water slides, playgrounds places to explore. Bring the family or God kids as I did. Definitely worth coming too.Rooms: Rooms in the cabin where decently sized I had 3 room ranger cabin was enough space for us.

Great camping with young ones. We have been taking the kids here for years but they are 11 now and they get bored now, but Great
