After 20 years of doing business with Anchor, we will never spend another dime there due to the lack of honesty/integrity their business manager displayed last week.

We left my husbands truck for over night work on their lot. The truck was vandalized, wheels taken off, dented, brake line cut, mud flaps stolen and more. The staff did nothing to help him, did offer a worth this happened on our property, offered a cup of coffee nothing. He had to ask friends to bring him tools and lugs nuts to get the wheels back on to be towed. They did not care one bit!! Beware leaving your car there for service. Would give a zero if I could.

My experience with Anchor over the past 2 years with 2 serious issues with my new Buick have not gone well. The service folks have no choice but to do everything possible not to honor the GM warranty. In addition, they do everything possible not to provide a loaner when your vehicle is disabled due to quality issues. They have canned or prepared responses to any issue to avoid any cost to them or to GM when a warranty claim is identified. The folks are nice but their hands are tied. Therefore you really do NOT have any warranty with a GM vehicle or at Anchor Buick. As a professional buyer I cannot recommend anyone buy a vehicle from Anchor or any other GM dealer. You'd be taking more risk than you think your taking. I am writing this post after Anchor and GM left me with no vehicle on the day I was to leave for vacation. They left me hanging after I trusted them by buying a new $50k vehicle form them. Tom

Made an appointment for 8am for service of 90,000 miles and to address a concern with my front defroster. I dropped the vehicle off at 8am ( per my scheduled appt time ) and returned at 1pm, I had not received any updates or calls from the Service Dept as of this time however I had finished my work day and decided to go in and confirm status and wait. At 1pm my vehicle was in the parking lot however when I spoke with the service person I was advised that the 90,000 service was complete however they had not yet looked at the defroster issue. I was told he would let them know i was there. They at that point had my vehicle for 5 hours serviced a portion of my request and parked my vehicle. Question are customer's who wait in the service area treated first? Because I chose to not miss time at work and drop the vehicle off they felt it ok to park my car for hours and service others first? 2 hours after my arrival I finally spoke with the Service person who said they had no conclusive diagnosis on my defroster - he informed me it would be a two day process with an $1800 cost for additional testing. Over all I could have gotten the oil change, filter change and rotation of tires at a fraction of the cost at my normal garage. The primary reason for taking it to Buick was for the defroster for which I got no resolution but paid for their time to park my vehicle. There was no explanation provided nor apology for my inconvenience. I highly would suggest using another service dept unless you have time and money to burn???? Jill K

Shopping for new SUV. The salesman seemed like a trainee. Didn't offer me a business card, didn't communicate with me at all during the initial phase. I had to call dealership to be told it's pending. Finally the next day I get a call that he couldn't help me and that was it!! No sorry, no attempts to work out an alternate deal, not even a thank you for shopping with us. Not impressed at all.

Had a terrific experience buying a pre owned car. Car exactly as advertised, Carfax on the dash board, financing was easy and delivery flawless. Highly recommend. James Robinson is the man to see.

The food here is never terrible but the prices are absolutely insane for some items! It's not hard to spend almost $10 on a slightly mediocre meal consisting of a sandwich, a side, and a drink. Things are not helped by their opening hours, which have gotten worse over the years. This is a problem with most Millersville Dining Services locations now, though.

I took my 2015 Buick Encore to Anchor because I add a check engine light on with a P0420 code and another shop told me my entire emissions system was rusted and the catalytic converters sounded like there was broken glass in them. Their repair estimate was $4000. Frank, the first service writer I saw at Anchor, was rude and gave me a long story about not being able to service the vehicle without the code (the other shop fixed the car enough for it to go off). I waited a week & stewed on it and then made an appointment for them to look at the car without the code figuring the mechanic should be able to SEE rust. The 2nd service writer, Kevin, told me the emissions system was fine but it needs $3000 worth of seals and gaskets replaced. So I am looking at $7000 worth of repairs on a vehicle that is worth about $9000! And the warranty assistance people at Buick have been of no help - nothing is covered and they can't help with any repair costs. My car had 53,000 miles on it when I took it in... how convenient that the warranty expired at 50k!
