They obviously can not handle the high volume of prescriptions that need filled. I waited 20 minutes in the car line and 10 of those were at the window waiting for someone to come tall to me. I rang the buzzer twice and didn't even get acknowledgement that they saw me. Its frustrating that they're the only place now that fills my prescriptions, or else Id go elsewhere. I dont think its the pharmacists faults, it just seems like to much for them.

This is too small of a pharmacy (Monongahela Giant Eagle) to handle the patient load from 2 closed Rite Aids. My doctor has been trying to get my prescription filled for an antibiotic to treat a post op infection, yet it is not showing in their system. We thought that since this is a simple antibiotic it would be filled in a timely manner, they claim to have no record of this prescription. Telephone wait time to speak to a human, about 45 minutes, the drive through is backed up as is the store interior pharmacy. After 2 decades of accurate and prompt service for us, this is a giant mess and guessing game as to whether our prescriptions will be available when needed.

I guess the pharmacy just can't be bothered to answer a call. I've called for DAYS. But the best I can get is the system puts me on hold. 45 minutes of the hold muzak and I'm done.

I’ve called 11 times today to get a refill on an important medication, and they still haven’t answered! Guess I gotta go in and wait in that long line they have because they’re so slow! I’m gonna switch my pharmacy.

Cant even get someone to answer the phone here, let alone treat you with any respect whatsoever.

After ten years of being a loyal customer at this pharmacy, I’ve made the difficult decision to transfer my prescriptions elsewhere. Unfortunately, my experience—particularly with the pharmacist, George—has been consistently disappointing and, at times, concerning.
While I’ve only had to speak with George a handful of times over the past decade, each interaction has been marked by unprofessionalism, dismissiveness, and an overall lack of basic courtesy. Most recently, I called with a simple question about a refill. George briefly placed me on hold—less than 30 seconds—then returned to say the medication was out of stock and I’d need to wait until the following day. His tone was curt, and it felt as though he hadn’t even taken the time to check inventory. When I expressed frustration about the repeated difficulty of getting information or support, George replied that he had “a million things to do” and was in the middle of filling prescriptions. While I understand the demands of a busy pharmacy, no customer should ever feel like a burden for asking legitimate questions about their health and medication.
This dismissive attitude is not new. Over the years, I’ve observed the same unhelpful demeanor from George, which I’ve come to expect with every interaction. What’s worse is that this behavior seems to have impacted the rest of the staff as well. Many of the technicians also appear overworked and similarly stressed, which likely reflects the leadership culture at this location.
In addition to the poor service, I’ve experienced ongoing refill issues—particularly over the past year. Even when my doctor prescribes a 90-day supply, the system often inaccurately shows no remaining refills. This forces me to contact my provider’s office, which then confirms that I do have refills available. I’ve since learned from my provider that multiple patients have reported the same problem with this particular pharmacy.
The most troubling part of my recent interaction was learning—only after pressing further—that an emergency dose option was available for my medication since it was the weekend and the pharmacy couldn’t reach my provider. This same scenario happened two years ago, but back then George insisted nothing could be done. As a result, I was forced to manipulate dosages (replacing one 80 mg dose with multiple 20 mg pills), which led me to run out of my 20 mg supply early and caused a significant disruption in my treatment plan. It took considerable effort to straighten things out with my doctor after the fact. The fact that this emergency dose option was not offered back then—and only mentioned now as a last-minute solution—is unacceptable and borders on negligent.
Frankly, I am strongly considering reporting George to the state board of pharmacy. His pattern of behavior and failure to offer appropriate patient care options—especially in situations involving time-sensitive medications—raises serious concerns about his fitness to serve in this role. Neglecting or abandoning a patient in need of care is not only unethical but potentially reportable.
The only reason I remained a customer for so long was the pharmacy’s convenient location. But that is no longer enough to justify the continued lack of professionalism and the failure to provide even basic customer care.

The lady who is blonde with curls is always so rude every time I have ever had her (if someone doesn’t understand something that doesn’t mean be rude to them). On the other hand neveah has always been so great.

The hot foods section is a train wreck. there's never any food available and when it is, u have to wait for someone to help u. I ordered a sub, & the emplyee made it then let it sat there for 5 minutes while she went in the cooler to get more supplies. When she returned, I asked her to remake it since flys were crawling all over it and she gave me an attitude. Do NOT recommend this place at all. Bring Judy back!

Most employees are miserable and want nothing to do with you being there. It's shocking how some of them act.

Used this place for my daughter's prescriptions. Staff is very rude and does not like to take the time to help you. If you have to call them good luck they don't answer the phone.

The Crew in this pharmacy takes time to know you,, they have followed me through my journey from heart failure to heart transplant, they know the side effects and side effects of every medication I take and answer all my questions and will help me when I get confused about a drug. Clayton and Kelly are the best, and all the others..
