Post carrier that goes into forward township marks all of our packages as no access before he even gets to the house. Our house is wide open no dogs or anything that could cause no access. Have lived there since the 1990’s with no issues prior. The manager told us if we called in anywhere it would just come back to her and she couldn’t do anything about it. Called into make a case and they told me on the phone they are not allowed to be doing that and problem will get escalated. The post office hangs up when trying to call in. Asked how far they can walk and back up there vehicle and they refuse to give an answer. I know they are union and don’t have to give answers but seems really lazy and unprofessional.

I work in MNGH AREA & few of us have complained few times over past few months to the mgt. In Main post office About the New mail person (ppl) Not coming in or dropping off our mail to the right businesses in our Plaza I am NOT the only one who is fed up with it The mgt. So Now im giving my opinion here..Told few of well uns have a blue box you can walk over to it to put your mail in if she doesn't pick it up!? Really checks are coming in & going to wrong offices & being considered late for the customers & so on this is unacceptable . The Guy who we talk to doesn't seem to care about our business mail getting taken care of properly.Only Mailman who cares enough to do his job Well & Excellent is Chris! So Thank u we Appreciate you taking care of us

Getting all others mail. I am waiting on checks I should have and wonder if someone else has them. The carriers need to look that they are delivering to the correct address. It’s been out of control.

My 85 year old father in law lives on Pike Alley in Monongahela. SaturdayMay1,2021 the carrier delivering his mail, instead of walking onto porchand placing mail in mailbox, just threw the mail on the porch. This actionwas caught on camera and reported to Postmaster of Monongahela. The Postmasters response was well your house isn't really on a route. This address has been on a route for well over 36 years. The Postmasterwas informed of this and his next comment was that my 85 year oldFather in law should move his box up onto the street. So instead ofthe mail carrier who gets paid very well to deliver the mail walk downthe steps and deliver the mail properly like it has been done for yearsmove the box so it is easier for the person being paid to do a job andmake an elderly person walk up the steps bcause the carrier can't dothe job properly. Maybe the Postmaster needs to let the carrierknow that the proper way to deljver mail is to place it in the mailboxas addressed.

I called about a parcel that wasn't delivered and the tracking information just dead-ended showing that it left PGH but then nothing, it never arrived in Monongahela.... I called Monongahela post office to inquire about the parcel and a man (I think his name was Dan) answered. He didn't treat me like I was annoying him or wasting his time. He looked into the parcel for me and actually called me back with an update and told me he would continue to try to help locate the missing parcel. Super friendly and super helpful which is commendable when post-offices are often short-staffed and super busy. Stellar service.

A nice looking old restored building. Oddly, you have to travel up stairs to reach the post office as it's on the second floor. Friendly staff and once they know you, they'll tell you if you have a package waiting when they see you. No chip readers for credit cards. Small greeting card carousel. Historically and architecturally it's cool. It's neat that they've got displays and artifacts from the construction on display.
